🌙 Eid ul Adha Mubarak from Aboho

Eid al-Adha reminds us that sacrifice is not only about giving up something valuable, it is also about choosing compassion, responsibility, and care for the world around us. In the face of climate change, true sacrifice can mean reducing waste, protecting nature, and living more sustainably for future generations.

May this Eid inspire us to align our actions with the values of stewardship, generosity, and environmental justice. Together, we can build a cleaner, kinder, and more resilient planet for all.

Our volunteers visited Comilla to celebrate the growth of trees planted four months ago at Baitul Haque Jame Masjid Mashikara Madrasah. The students have taken great care of the trees, nurturing them alongside their love for nature.

The reflection event, Aboho Rokkhok, was full of energy and enthusiasm. Seeing the same passion from planting day still alive today was truly inspiring. The students proved that with care and commitment, they can make a real difference.

This initiative was proudly supported by Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC).

Growing Green Dreams Despite the Rain

On April 29, 2026, we hosted Arronyak at Park International School and College, Dhaka, organized by Aboho—a day that reminded us how passion can outshine even the gloomiest skies.

The morning began with relentless rain. As the downpour continued for hours, uncertainty crept in. We worried whether we would even make it to the venue, let alone carry out everything we had planned. The journey itself, from GMT Campus Mugda to Khilgaon, became more challenging than expected, and at one point, it felt like the day might slip through our fingers.

Some of our plans did not go exactly as envisioned. The weather forced us to adjust, and a few activities had to be scaled back. We also anticipated a lower turnout due to the rain—and indeed, participation was less than we had hoped.

But what unfolded was something far more meaningful.

Despite the weather and setbacks, the students who joined brought an energy that was truly contagious. Their enthusiasm turned the day around. We successfully organized a workshop and a tree plantation drive, both of which became the heart of the event. The commitment and curiosity shown by the participants reminded us why initiatives like this matter so deeply.

This event was proudly supported by Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC) and organized by Aboho, whose dedication made it possible even under challenging circumstances.

What could have been a disappointing day became a powerful experience of resilience and collective spirit. The rain may have slowed us down, but it could not dampen our purpose.

Arronyak was not perfect—but it was real, inspiring, and full of hope.

And as we left the campus that day, one thing was clear: this is just the beginning. We are more committed than ever to continuing our green mission and creating a more sustainable future.

Arronyak: The green mission

A vibrant step toward environmental responsibility took shape through Arronyak, a tree plantation program organized by Aboho and powered by Bangladesh Youth Leadership Center (BYLC) at Park International School & College. The event brought together enthusiastic students with one shared goal—to make their campus greener and more sustainable.

From the very beginning, the energy was contagious. Students actively participated in the plantation process, guided by members of Aboho who carefully demonstrated the proper techniques of planting trees. This hands-on guidance ensured that every participant not only planted a tree but also understood how to nurture it over time.

One of the most unique aspects of Arronyak was the introduction of student handbook. Each student team received a logbook to track the growth and condition of their planted trees. This wasn’t just about planting and leaving,it was about building responsibility. Students were divided into teams, and each team took ownership of their trees, regularly recording updates and observations. This system turned a one-day event into a long-term environmental commitment.

Beyond the plantation, the program also included a lively and enjoyable session. Students bonded, shared experiences, and celebrated their contribution to nature. The atmosphere was filled with excitement, laughter, and a strong sense of purpose.

The green mission gained new momentum through this event, as both participants and organizers experienced the joy of working together for a meaningful cause. Arronyak wasn’t just an event,
it was a learning experience, a responsibility, and a celebration of nature.

In the end, what truly stood out was the impact: not just in the number of trees planted, but in the minds inspired.
