We are delighted to share the successful completion of Project A Cup of Change, an initiative of Alisha Foundation, completed on 11 September 2026.
The project was designed with a simple yet meaningful objective—to create a sustainable livelihood opportunity for some economically vulnerable individual by supporting the establishment of a tea stall as a source of regular income.
Instead of providing one-time financial assistance, A Cup of Change was developed around the principles of empowerment, self-reliance and sustainable livelihood generation. As part of the initiative, the beneficiary was provided with the necessary business equipment, initial inventory and operational support required to start and independently operate the tea stall.
At Alisha Foundation, we believe that meaningful change begins with compassion, but lasting impact comes from creating opportunities for people to become self-reliant and empowered.
