Thanks to Plan International Bangladesh and for change for taking this amazing initiative!

🔵 Today, we joined a conversation with members of the Bangladesh Youth Coalition (BYC), young leaders from across the country — working on gender diversity, disability, civic space, women’s rights and climate change — who came together to share their experiences and ideas on how the civic space are for young people.

These young leaders shared their insights on what helps the youth take part; and what holds them back, how youth-led organisations are contributing to development, whether the young voices are being heard meaningfully, ⁠the hurdles the youth face when trying to access resources and opportunities - reminding us why it’s so important to create safe, inclusive spaces where young people can lead, participate and influence the decisions that shape their lives.
