Team Shetu is a team formed by graduates of Building Bridges Through Leadership Training (BBLT 11 ) programme of Bangladesh Youth Leadership Centre (BYLC). We are participating in the PDF Summer Challenge with our project Shoishob. Project Shoishob is about making a positive change in the lives of the under-priveleged children in our society. These children are deprived of basic rights,education,p
roper nutrition and most importantly all the colors of a proper childhood. The principle theme of Project Shoishob is to make an effort to give them a taste of this childhood. We are targeting the under-privileged children in SOS- Shishu Polli, Sajeda Foundation, Tejgaon slum and we are planning to do something for them according to what they need the most. We are going to do activities such as Art competition on the theme "Paint Your Dream" to inspire and motivate them. Carry out workshops on health and hygiene, moral teaching, and their rights. Also organize an entertainment session for them. Our Project largely depends on funds so we welcome any amounts of personal donation in this month of Ramadan. Also we need a large amount of volunteers to work with us and help to successfully carry out the event. We are charging a registration fee of 200/- for each volunteer to provide for the t-shirt and certificate of participation. Also to be noted the rest of the amount from each volunteer would be directly invested into the project. This is to make the volunteers feel that they are directly contributing to the project and their money is what making these children smile. The more funds we get, the more we can expand and the bigger we can make our project to be. So join us and help us to give these children the childhood they deserve and let them know that they are not alone.
