Honored to represent the BUFT Chinese Language Club at the inaugural ceremony of the China-Bangladesh Education Cooperation Forum-2026, held on May 9, 2026, at the International Mother Language Institute.

The forum brought together distinguished academicians, education leaders and representatives from both Bangladesh and China to strengthen cooperation in education, research, cultural exchange and future academic collaboration. It was truly inspiring to witness such a meaningful initiative dedicated to building stronger educational ties between the two countries.

It was also a privilege to share the experience with respected personalities like Professor Maya and Mike Ge.

Special thanks and sincere gratitude to the Honorable VC of BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology for selecting us to represent the university at such a prestigious event.

Grateful to be part of such a meaningful and inspiring platform and looking forward to more opportunities for international collaboration and academic growth in the future. 🌏✨

On 8 May 2026, the BUFT Campus had the honor of welcoming Prof. Dr. Liu Peng, Deputy Director of International Cooperation and Exchange of Yunnan University, China, for an official visit and collaboration discussion.

The distinguished visit was also graced by the presence of Professor Maya from the NSU Confucius Institute and Mr. Mike Ge, Manager of Jiangsu Guotai Huasheng Industrial Co. Ltd.

The BUFT Chinese Language Club was delighted to be present during this meaningful exchange, which reflected the shared vision of strengthening international collaboration, academic connection and cultural understanding.

We sincerely express our gratitude to all respected guests for visiting BUFT and look forward to future opportunities for cooperation and partnership.

পাসপোর্ট হয়ে গেছে। এখন কোন কাজটি সবচেয়ে জরুরি?

অনেকেই ভাবেন পাসপোর্ট হাতে পেলেই বিদেশে পড়াশোনার প্রস্তুতির বড় অংশ শেষ। কিন্তু বাস্তবে, পাসপোর্টের পরপরই যে গুরুত্বপূর্ণ কাজটি করা উচিত, সেটি হলো Police Clearance Certificate (PCC) সংগ্রহ করা।

আর এখানেই অনেক শিক্ষার্থী একটি সাধারণ ভুল করেন।

পাসপোর্ট করার সময় যে Police Verification হয়, সেটিকেই অনেকে Police Clearance মনে করেন। অথচ এই দুটি সম্পূর্ণ আলাদা বিষয়। পাসপোর্ট ভেরিফিকেশন শুধু পাসপোর্ট ইস্যুর জন্য করা হয়, কিন্তু বিদেশি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও Scholarship application-এর জন্য আলাদা করে Police Clearance Certificate প্রয়োজন হয়।

এই ভুল বোঝাবুঝির কারণে অনেক শিক্ষার্থী Application Deadline-এর একদম শেষ সময়ে এসে সমস্যায় পড়ে যান। তখন শুরু হয় দৌড়ঝাঁপ, আর অনেক সময় গুরুত্বপূর্ণ Deadline-ও মিস হয়ে যায়।

Police Clearance হলো বাংলাদেশ পুলিশের দেওয়া একটি অফিসিয়াল সার্টিফিকেট, যা প্রমাণ করে আপনার নামে কোনো অপরাধমূলক মামলা বা অভিযোগ নেই। বর্তমানে বেশিরভাগ বিদেশি বিশ্ববিদ্যালয় ও Scholarship application-এ এটি বাধ্যতামূলক। সাধারণত এর মেয়াদ ৩-৬ মাস থাকে।

আবেদন করার আগে যেসব ডকুমেন্ট লাগবে

• পাসপোর্টের তথ্য পাতার সত্যায়িত ফটোকপি
• জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্রের ফটোকপি
• জন্ম নিবন্ধনের ফটোকপি
• নাগরিক সনদের কপি
• পাসপোর্ট সাইজ ছবি
• ১৫০০ টাকার ট্রেজারি চালানের রিসিভ কপি

ফি জমা দেওয়া যায় বাংলাদেশ ব্যাংক বা সোনালী ব্যাংকের যেকোনো শাখায়। এছাড়াও অনলাইন বা মোবাইল ব্যাংকিং ব্যবহার করেও পরিশোধ করা যায়।

আবেদন করার ধাপ

১. জাতীয় পরিচয়পত্র দিয়ে অ্যাকাউন্ট রেজিস্ট্রেশন করুন
২. “Apply” মেনু থেকে আবেদন ফরম পূরণ করুন
৩. ব্যক্তিগত তথ্য ও বর্তমান ঠিকানা সঠিকভাবে দিন
৪. প্রয়োজনীয় ডকুমেন্ট স্ক্যান করে আপলোড করুন
৫. সব তথ্য যাচাই করে Submit করুন
৬. ফি পরিশোধের মাধ্যমে আবেদন সম্পন্ন করুন

মনে রাখবেন, Submit করার পর তথ্য পরিবর্তন করা যায় না।

সাধারণত ২ থেকে ৩ কার্যদিবসের মধ্যে সংশ্লিষ্ট থানা থেকে ভেরিফিকেশনের জন্য যোগাযোগ করা হতে পারে। সবকিছু ঠিক থাকলে ১০ থেকে ১২ কার্যদিবসের মধ্যে সার্টিফিকেট ইস্যু হয়। অনেক ক্ষেত্রে আরও দ্রুত পাওয়া গেলেও এটি সবসময় নিশ্চিত নয়।

যদি Deadline খুব কাছাকাছি হয়?

এখন আবেদন করলে অনেক সময় Police Clearance হাতে পেতে পেতে University Application Deadline পার হয়ে যেতে পারে। তবে এই পরিস্থিতিরও একটি সমাধান রয়েছে।

অনেক বিশ্ববিদ্যালয়ে Application Copy-এর সাথে একটি Declaration Letter জমা দিয়েও সাময়িকভাবে আবেদন করা যায়।

Our Quiz Examination and 5th class of the HSK Level 01 Chinese Language Course were successfully conducted today, led by our Chinese teacher, Lǎoshī Sophia.

The exam covered Lesson: 01–04, followed by an engaging session on Lesson 05. Students remained actively involved throughout both the exam and the class.

Based on weekly progress, our daily grooming sessions will continue to strengthen learning and ensure consistent practice.

🇨🇳 Great opportunity for BUFT students!

Learn Chinese Language (HSK Level 1) at BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) through the BUFT Center for International Language and Culture (BCILC), in collaboration with the Confucius Institute at NSU.

The new batch has already started on 4th April 2026 with an engaging introductory class by Mrs. Sophia, covering Chinese culture, traditions, useful apps, scholarship opportunities, and basic tones & greetings.

💰 Course Fees (BUFT students only):

- BDT 3,000 – for non-member BUFT students

Our HSK Level-01 Chinese Language Course officially began on 4th April 2026 with a successful and engaging introductory class!

The session was conducted by our respected Chinese teacher, Mrs. Sophia, where students got a primary insights into China — including its culture, geographical location, music, traditions, popular daily-use apps, renowned companies, and scholarship opportunities.

Student's were also introduced to the fundamentals of the Chinese language, such as basic tones and greetings. The class was highly interactive, informative, and enjoyable for everyone.

We are excited and looking forward to the upcoming classes.
