The event started with the MC introducing everyone and what Inner Wheel is to the students.
Then the speakers took their turn into explaining their topics to the audience. Afterwards, there was an art competition amongst the students on the Community Service theme celebrating Youth Day prior to the event where the students' artworks were judged by ISO of IWC of Dhaka North West, Farhana Rashid Meera and Vice Chairman 1 Eihita Hassan Auhana. The students who got places were rewarded including all the participants of the competition.

There was an open session set for the students to share their experiences on these subject matters.

The awareness program concluded with the Vote of thanks given by Jharna Podder, President of IWC of Dilkusha.

Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka Metro proudly hosted and participated in this program.

Project name: Awareness Program on Female Hygiene, Safety Protocols in life and Violence Against Women.
Venue: Dhaka YWCA, Green Road

3) Umamah Manal Mahmood - President of IWC of Dhaka Metro

Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka Metro successfully hosted an awareness program (4th project) with Dhaka YWCA amongst 300 female students and 50 teachers and members of the Governing body.

The speakers spoke on basic female hygiene which consists of using a hand soap for cleanliness and sanitary napkins for avoiding future health complications during menstruation, to be wary of their surroundings and not get persuaded by strangers or any suspicious elderly predators, to raise voice against violence against women if they witness any.

Then we created an open floor discussion where multiple students showed interests in sharing their experiences and feedback on the said awareness speeches by the speakers. They thanked everyone for broadening their knowledge on these matters with extreme enthusiasm.

Overall, it was a productive session. Huge thanks to Dhaka YWCA for letting us execute two projects together.

Project Name: WASH
Venue: Dhaka YWCA, Green Road.

Inner Wheel Club of Dhaka Metro proudly executed their 3rd project: The WASH project.

This project comprised of donating Sanitary napkins and Hand Soaps to 300 female students of different Free schools run by Dhaka YWCA.

Internationally abbreviated word
WASH stands for- water and sanitation hygiene.

Let the female new generations of our country, who don't usually get the privilege to be supported in this basic hygiene commodity receive the required love and help to be healthy for a better future!

Beneficiary: 300 Female students from Pre Teenage group.
