We are deeply saddened to share the passing of Rev. Funato(1936-2025)—our mentor and dear friend—who faithfully served ACEF for a remarkable 35 years as Director, Chairman, and Advisor.
His leadership was steady, his wisdom generous, and his compassion unmistakable. Because of his dedication, so many children, families, and communities found hope and practical support in Bangladesh. He taught us to serve quietly, to plan carefully, and to love boldly.
We give thanks for his life and ministry, and we commit ourselves to carry forward the work he cared for so deeply.
May the Lord grant him eternal rest, and may God’s comfort surround his family and all who mourn.
