Announcing Our Top Storytellers!

We are thrilled to share that the top storytellers have been shortlisted based on the wonderful stories submitted and the careful evaluation by our panel of four judges.

A heartfelt thank you to all the participants who shared their stories with us — your voices and creativity are what make the Ambi-A·tchuni Kurang (Story of the Elders) project so special.

📣 The following shortlisted storytellers are kindly requested to attend the Dhaka Wangala 2025 Festival tomorrow, 24 October 2025, at Banani Bidyaniketan High School and College, Dhaka.

The final results, along with prize announcements and certificate handovers, will take place during the Wangala event.

Storytelling Competition 2025
Do you have a story to tell? 🎙️
Share your voice in Garo language (Abeng, Atong, Chibok, Dual, or Megam) and be part of keeping our culture alive!
📌 Submission Rules:
1️⃣ Stories must be told in Garo language.
2️⃣ Submit online through the provided link or send your audio via WhatsApp (with your name, address & contact number).
3️⃣ If the storyteller’s voice differs from the person submitting, only the storyteller will be recognized as the participant.
4️⃣ The Top 3–4 storytellers will present live at the Wangala Event in Dhaka.

🥇 1st Prize – 10,000
🥈 2nd Prize – 6000
🏅 Finalists (3) – 3000 each
College–University & Others
🥇 1st Prize – 20,000
