The Second In-Person Meeting of SFPE Bangladesh Chapter Members was successfully held on 07 September 2025, from 19:00 to 21:15 hours at Banani, Dhaka.
📌 Key Resolutions & Outcomes:
✅ The Chapter bylaws were formally introduced and acknowledged by all members, with consensus on maintaining integrity, professional conduct, and avoiding political or commercial influence.
✅ Elected Positions (07-Sep-2025 to 06-Sep-2026):
Convener: Engr. Kazi Raian Mahmood, MIEB, MSFPE, CFI
Publication & Communication: Engr. Musfiqul Azad, MIEB, MSFPE
Treasurer: Engr. Md. Fazlul Bari, MIEB, MSFPE, CFPS
✅ Chapter is preparing for a presidential election and thus is looking for an elligeable presidential candidate prefarably from academic, research, or leadership background.
✅ It was resolved to organize a Seminar under the Chapter’s banner by the end of November 2025. Members are invited to submit suggested topics and speaker/co-speaker names by the end of September 2025.
✅ Agreement to initiate development of the Chapter’s website and enhance its digital presence on professional and social platforms.
✅ Preliminary discussions were held on the branding strategy, with finalization to follow after the Presidential election.
✅ Next Meeting: Mid-October 2025 (online or in-person) – to continue deliberation on specific agendas.
