Apps like bSafe, Safetipin, or Nirapad allow women to send SOS alerts, share their live location, or even record video/audio during emergencies. These apps provide a quick and easy way to seek help in dangerous situations.
2) Smart Wearable Devices-
Smartwatches, bracelets, or discreet cameras are now advanced enough to alert police or family members with a single tap. These devices are portable and often blend in, making them hard to notice.
3) Artificial Intelligence (AI) and CCTV Surveillance-
AI-powered CCTV systems can detect suspicious behavior and instantly notify police or security forces. For example, if someone is acting unusually, the system flags it for immediate action.

Blockchain can securely store reports in a way that prevents tampering or deletion. This makes the information a strong piece of evidence in legal proceedings.

1) Privacy Concerns: Using technology risks personal data being misused or leaked.
2) Access to Technology: Many women, especially in rural areas, lack smartphones or internet access.
3) Lack of Awareness: Some women don’t know these tools exist or how to use them.
Technology has opened new doors in the fight against violence toward women. However, to make it truly effective, governments, organizations, and tech companies must work together. The potential for technology to enhance women’s safety and empowerment is limitless.
