Meet Our Co-founder – Tasfia Tarannum Prova
At SheLeadsNow, we believe in powerful beginnings—and today, we're thrilled to introduce one of our fiercest forces of change: Tasfia Tarannum Prova, our Co-founder, legal researcher, and unstoppable advocate for justice, gender equality, and youth empowerment.
Prova is currently pursuing her LLM at the University of Dhaka, where she also completed her LLB. Her journey is rooted in purpose and passion—from working with genocide survivors at the Center for the Study of Genocide and Justice (CSGJ) to empowering marginalized communities through Daahuk and advancing mental health awareness at Let’s Talk Mental Health (LTMH).
She’s been awarded the “Best Researcher” title for her groundbreaking essay on the 1971 genocide against the Santal and Oraon communities—proof of her deep commitment to truth, justice, and academic excellence. She has also served as an editor at the Dhaka University Law and Politics Review (DULPR), where her bilingual skills and sharp analytical mind shine.
From legal research and documentation to storytelling, policy critique, and community advocacy—Prova does it all with compassion and clarity.
Why SheLeadsNow?
