📚 HER SKILLS, HER POWER তার দক্ষতা, তার শক্তি!!

On 10 May, Machan had the honor of opening a beautiful book launch event organized by Goethe-Institut Bangladesh through a musical performance. Through music, emotions, and stories from the community, the performance created a warm and vibrant atmosphere for the beginning of the event.

We are grateful to be part of a space where art, culture, and community come together so beautifully.

saiquaworks Week 1: Instinct & Possibility

Everything begins in uncertainty. Nothingness is a state where possibilities exist.

This week focuses on instinct. Marks, gestures, fragments emerge before meaning is fixed. At this stage, nothing is defined. There is only potential.

In a more scientific perspective, this reflects a moment shaped by potential and probability. The possibilities are endless, not yet determined.

Participants are invited to respond without pressure to play, hesitate, repeat, and discover what naturally emerges.

সপ্তাহ ১: সম্ভাবনা

সবকিছুর শুরু হয় অনিশ্চয়তা থেকে। এই সপ্তাহে আমরা কোনো নিয়ম ছাড়া, মনের সুখে, খেলাচ্ছলে আর আড্ডা দিয়ে নিজেদের কথাগুলো এঁকে, লিখে কিংবা সেলাই এর মাধ্যমে প্রকাশ করব। এখানে থাকছে তুমুল সম্ভাবনা, যেখানে সৃষ্টির শুরু।

Machan proudly participated in the Youth Coalition-Building Event on 12 April 2026 at KIB Complex, Dhaka, organized by SERAC-Bangladesh with support from GHAI Advocacy Accelerator.

As part of the ongoing partnership between SERAC-Bangladesh and, Managing Director Jony Akter represented Machan and contributed to discussions on strengthening youth collaboration and advocating for the integration of the VPL model into adolescent health services.

A meaningful step forward in joint efforts to advance youth-led advocacy and adolescent health in Bangladesh.

Today মাচান -Machan celebrate the strength, resilience, and leadership of women everywhere. 💜

On this International Women’s Day, Machan stands in solidarity with women and girls especially those from marginalized communities who continue to break barriers and lead change every day.

We believe that empowering women means empowering entire communities. Through youth engagement, community action, and inclusive learning spaces, we strive to create a world where every woman and girl can live with dignity, safety, and opportunity.

Let’s continue to raise our voices, support one another, and work together for a more just and equal future. ✊

Today, two মাচান -Machan body members and two volunteers from Machan participated in a Key Informant’s (KIs) Training organized by Child Sight Foundation in collaboration with Alo Clinic at Korail.

The session was honored by the presence of Dr. M. A. Muhit, representing the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, who shared valuable insights on disability inclusion and community-based support for children.

Through this training, our team gained important knowledge on identifying the needs of children with disabilities, strengthening community awareness, and connecting families with appropriate services and support systems.

At Machan, we believe that building an inclusive and compassionate community starts with learning and collaboration. We are grateful for this opportunity to work alongside organizations and experts to ensure that children with disabilities in Korail receive the support they deserve.
