𝐕𝐨𝐥𝐮𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐞𝐫 𝐑𝐞𝐜𝐫𝐮𝐢𝐭𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 𝐟𝐨𝐫 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 𝐏𝐫𝐨𝐣𝐞𝐜𝐭

𝐔𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐓 is going to launch a new project named 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞, a sustainable initiative where fiber will be produced from pineapple leaves. Through this project, we aim to promote an eco-friendly use of agricultural waste while creating meaningful community-based opportunities.

For this project, we are looking for dedicated and responsible volunteers who are willing to support us in field-level activities. The most probable working area of the project will be Naniarchar, Rangamati.

Since PineWeave will involve field-based work, volunteers may need to visit project areas for monitoring and support. The main team may not always be able to visit every field regularly, so volunteers might have to conduct field visits in small teams of 2 or 3 members when required.

𝗩𝗼𝗹𝘂𝗻𝘁𝗲𝗲𝗿 𝗥𝗲𝗾𝘂𝗶𝗿𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀:

• Must be from Rangamati
• Must have willingness and mentality for field visits
• Must be responsible, cooperative, and sincere
• Must be comfortable working in a small team
• Must be interested in community-based and environmental project activities

Selected volunteers will receive a Participation Certificate after their involvement in the project.

On 18 May 2026, the representative team of 𝐔𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐓 officially signed a 𝐌𝐞𝐦𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐝𝐮𝐦 𝐨𝐟 𝐀𝐠𝐫𝐞𝐞𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭 (𝐌𝐨𝐀) with 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 for the upcoming 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 Project.

𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞 𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞 is a sustainable initiative focused on producing fiber from pineapple leaves, promoting eco-friendly innovation, and creating meaningful opportunities for local communities in the Chittagong Hill Tracts.

This agreement marks an important step toward implementing the project and strengthening collaboration between 𝐔𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐓 and 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲

We are grateful to 𝐓𝐡𝐞 𝐄𝐚𝐫𝐭𝐡 𝐒𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐞𝐭𝐲 for entrusting 𝐔𝐏𝐋𝐈𝐅𝐓 𝐂𝐇𝐓 with this project, and we look forward to working together for sustainable community development.

আমরা অত্যন্ত আনন্দের সাথে জানাচ্ছি যে আমাদের প্রতিনিধি দল 𝐏𝐢𝐧𝐞𝐖𝐞𝐚𝐯𝐞, The Earth Society কর্তৃক আয়োজিত “Green Voice Master Bootcamp 2026”-এ বিজয়ী হয়েছে।

PineWeave-এর উদ্ভাবনী ধারণাটি ছিল পাহাড়ি অঞ্চলে অব্যবহৃত আনারসের পাতা থেকে পরিবেশবান্ধব ও টেকসই ফাইবার তৈরি করা, যা একদিকে যেমন অপচয় কমাবে, অন্যদিকে স্থানীয় অর্থনীতিতে নতুন সম্ভাবনার দ্বার উন্মোচন করবে।

এই সাফল্যের পেছনে PineWeave-এর প্রতিনিধি সদস্য সন্তেষী চাকমা এবং প্রিয়ন্তী চাকমার আন্তরিক ও নিরলস প্রচেষ্টা বিশেষভাবে প্রশংসনীয়।

PineWeave’s innovative idea focused on producing sustainable fiber from unused pineapple leaves in the hill regions—an initiative that not only reduces waste but also opens new opportunities for the local economy.

This achievement was made possible through the dedication and hard work of PineWeave’s representatives, Santeashi Chakma and Priyanti Chakma, whose efforts are truly commendable.
