We are thrilled to share that BizzBuddy was selected to represent student innovation at an intimate reception hosted by the Millennium Campus Network (MCN) last night!

Our Project Lead, Akhyear Mushfiqur Rahman, joined MCN Advisor Susan Gibson and a visiting delegation of US philanthropists to discuss the future of youth entrepreneurship in Bangladesh.

During the session, we shared BizzBuddy’s mission to transform university students from "accidental entrepreneurs" into sustainable Job Creators. It was an incredible opportunity to connect our campus ecosystem with global leaders who share our vision of inclusive economic growth.

We are delighted to welcome Md. Mazibur Rahman, Managing Director of Janata Bank PLC and Chairman of Janata Capital & Investment Limited, as our Distinguished Guest and Session Speaker for the BizzBuddy Financial Literacy Session! 🌱

With 27 years of experience in Bangladesh’s banking sector, Mr. Rahman has excelled in Credit, Foreign Trade, Treasury, HR, and ICT, shaping operations across the nation. He also serves on the boards of Padma Bank PLC and the Investment Corporation of Bangladesh, and as Vice President of the Primary Dealers Association.

Previously, he led Probashi Kallyan Bank as Managing Director and served as Deputy Managing Director at Sonali Bank PLC, contributing significantly to Bangladesh’s economic growth through his leadership in Retail Credit and Project Finance.

As an alumnus of Bangladesh Agricultural University, Mr. Rahman holds a B.Sc. (Ag.) in Agricultural Economics and an M.S. in Agricultural Production Economics, and is a Distinguished Fellow of the Institute of Bankers Bangladesh (IBB).

We are proud to announce our insightful series “Ignite: Empowering Campus Entrepreneurs” focused on various topics which are a must for an entrepreneur's growth. This series will be open and free to all.

We aim to promote an economy that will grow sustainably with complete and productive employment, and ensure decent work for all. There will be sessions on financial literacy, entrepreneurship development, mentorship sessions, working in MNCs, SME loans, and many more. We will learn from the professionals and successful entrepreneurs.
