Congratulations to Bayazid Sarkar, former Lead Organizer of TEDxJagannathUniversity 2025, on being selected as a recipient of the IEEE Computer Society Richard E. Merwin Student Scholarship for the Spring 2026 cohort.

This spring, only 18 students worldwide received this prestigious scholarship, recognizing exceptional student leadership, academic excellence, and contributions to the computing community.

Bayazid's journey reflects the spirit of ideas, leadership, and impact that continues to inspire our community. We are proud to celebrate this remarkable milestone and look forward to all that lies ahead.

Ready to meet the people making TEDx Jagannath University happen? 👀

It’s been a long journey, and now we’re excited to finally introduce a few of our core team leads the ones working behind the scenes to bring this year’s event to life!

• Md. Mehedi Hasan from the Department of CSE – handles Media & Production. He’s the creative & visionary force capturing every powerful moment and making sure our vision looks perfect on screen & media.

• Md. Shahriar Jubayer from the Department of Statistics – leads the Marketing & Outreach team. From every corner of the campus to online engagement, he’s spreading the word far and wide.

• Foysol Mahmud from the Department of Law – leads the Documentation & Magazine team. With a sharp eye for detail & knowledge of various domains, he’s preserving our journey and shaping the stories you’ll remember.

• A.K.M Abdullah from the Department of Management Studies – manages Finance & Partnerships. He’s the strategist & hardworking, making sure we have the resources to turn ideas into reality.

Big thanks to these four for their hard work and vision!
This year’s theme is “Rewired Perspective,” and with this team, we’re ready to rethink everything.

Certificate Collection Notice

Participants who could not collect their certificates on the event day are requested to collect them from the Department of CSE, Hardware Lab on 17th December, between 2:30 PM – 4:00 PM.

If you are unable to come in person, please send someone on your behalf to collect the certificate.
