প্রতিবন্ধী নারীদের অর্থনৈতিক অংশগ্রহণ নিশ্চিতকরণ এবং সমাজের নেতিবাচক দৃষ্টিভঙ্গি পরিবর্তনের মাধ্যমে একটি বৈষম্যহীন ও অন্তর্ভুক্তিমূলক সমাজ গড়ার প্রত্যয়ে গত ১২ ও ১৩ সেপ্টেম্বর সফলভাবে সম্পন্ন হলো ২ দিনব্যাপী “Capacity Development Training on Inclusive Youth Leadership, Advocacy & Media Engagement”।এই প্রশিক্ষণটি Disabled Child Foundation (DCF)-এর SWOCCHAR Project-এর অধীনে পরিচালিত ৬ মাসব্যাপী “Youth-led SHIFT Campaign”-এর একটি গুরুত্বপূর্ণ অংশ। ক্যাম্পেইনের আওতায় ঢাকা জেলার ২০ জন প্রতিবন্ধী ও অ-প্রতিবন্ধী যুব ক্যাম্পেইনারকে অন্তর্ভুক্ত করে তাদের নেতৃত্ব, অ্যাডভোকেসি, মিডিয়া সম্পৃক্ততা এবং সামাজিক পরিবর্তন সৃষ্টির সক্ষমতা বৃদ্ধির লক্ষ্যে এই প্রশিক্ষণ কর্মশালার আয়োজন করা হয়।
দুই দিনব্যাপী এই প্রশিক্ষণে অংশগ্রহণকারীরা Inclusive Youth Leadership, Gender Equality এবং Double Discrimination সম্পর্কে গভীরভাবে ধারণা লাভ করেন। পাশাপাশি কার্যকর স্টেকহোল্ডার অ্যাডভোকেসি, Power Mapping, Community Dialogue পরিচালনা, Print ও Electronic Media-এর সঙ্গে কার্যকর যোগাযোগ এবং বিভিন্ন Online Tools ব্যবহার করে Digital Content তৈরির ব্যবহারিক কৌশল শেখানো হয়।প্রশিক্ষণের অংশ হিসেবে Pre & Post Evaluation, Campaign Simulation এবং Most Significant Change (MSC) Storytelling-এর মাধ্যমে অংশগ্রহণকারীদের জ্ঞান, দক্ষতা ও বাস্তবভিত্তিক সক্ষমতা মূল্যায়ন করা হয়। এর মাধ্যমে ২০ জন ক্যাম্পেইনারকে আগামী ছয় মাসের ক্যাম্পেইন কার্যক্রমে সক্রিয়ভাবে অংশগ্রহণ, মাঠপর্যায়ে সচেতনতা তৈরি, অ্যাডভোকেসি পরিচালনা এবং ইতিবাচক সামাজিক পরিবর্তন আনতে প্রস্তুত করা হয়েছে।
এই ৬ মাসব্যাপী Youth-led SHIFT Campaign-এর মাধ্যমে প্রশিক্ষণপ্রাপ্ত ২০ জন যুব ক্যাম্পেইনার সমাজে প্রতিবন্ধী নারীদের অর্থনৈতিক অংশগ্রহণের সুযোগ বৃদ্ধি, নেতিবাচক সামাজিক ধারণা ও বৈষম্য মোকাবিলা এবং একটি অধিক Inclusive, Equal & Discrimination-free Society গড়ে তুলতে কাজ করবেন।
With a strong commitment to ensuring the economic participation of women with disabilities and shifting harmful social norms to build a more inclusive and discrimination-free society, a 2-day “Capacity Development Training on Inclusive Youth Leadership, Advocacy & Media Engagement” was successfully held on 12 and 13 September.The training was organized as an integral part of the six-month-long “Youth-led SHIFT Campaign”, implemented under the SWOCCHAR Project of the Disabled Child Foundation (DCF). The initiative brings together 20 youth campaigners, both with and without disabilities, from Dhaka District, with the aim of strengthening their leadership, advocacy, media engagement, and community mobilization skills.
Throughout the two-day training, participants gained a deeper understanding of inclusive youth leadership, gender equality, and double discrimination. They also learned practical techniques for stakeholder advocacy, power mapping, community dialogue facilitation, print and electronic media engagement, and digital content creation using online tools.Through pre- and post-evaluations, campaign simulations, and Most Significant Change (MSC) storytelling, the participants were equipped with practical knowledge and skills to take forward the campaign at the community level.
As part of the six-month Youth-led SHIFT Campaign, these 20 trained youth campaigners will actively engage in field-level activities to promote the economic participation of women with disabilities, challenge negative social norms, advocate for inclusion and equality, and contribute to creating a more inclusive, equal, and discrimination-free society.
