It’s been a while since CHOWRASTA, but some moments are worth coming back to.

On 10 & 11 August we all pulled up and got it done.

Graffiti, rap, breaking, beatbox, skateboarding, DJs, cyphers, conversations, new connections, and a lot of love.

But beyond everything that happened, what stayed with us was the feeling of being together.

That’s what we wanted CHOWRASTA to be.
A meeting point.
A space for the culture.
A space for the people.

Big love and shout-out to everyone who made these two days possible: all the artists, performers, skaters, DJs, breakers, beatboxers, writers, volunteers, photographers, videographers, community partners, and everyone who showed up and supported.

Special love to everyone who contributed to the CHOWRASTA COMMUNITY FUND and helped us keep it community-powered.

This is our long look back at those two days.

Don’t forget your roots.
Keep the culture alive.
Keep looking out for each other.

Thank you, everyone, and endless love to all of you.

On the 10th and 11th, we all pulled up together. Nothing is possible if we’re not together; that's what Hip-Hop teaches us: Unity, Love & peace.

We need to come together even more, not break apart. We’ll look out for each other; that’s what we’re doing, and that’s what we’ll keep doing.

Whatever we do, let’s not forget our roots.
Let’s not forget that Hip means Knowledge, Hop means Movement.
