An afternoon filled with laughter, conversations and meaningful connections.

IEEE WIE participated in the IEEE SB DU Executive Committee Lunch & Get Together, uniting ExComs from all 9 IEEE societies for a wonderful time of bonding over delicious food and a warm atmosphere. From sharing stories to creating new memories, every moment strengthened the spirit of unity and collaboration within our IEEE family.

We were especially honored by the presence of our respected teachers Dr Mainul Hossain, Dr. Md. Minarul Islam and Md. Nizam Uddin Tanim, whose support and encouragement made the gathering even more memorable.

Grateful for the connections we built and the amazing time we shared together. Looking forward to many more moments like this!

Assistant Professor (Grade II), Department of Electrical Engineering, NIT Rourkela, India

Dr. Choudhury is a Senior Member of IEEE and a Chartered Engineer with extensive academic and industry experience in power electronics and renewable energy. He completed his Ph.D. from KIIT University and M.Tech from NIT Agartala, and he has previously worked with JK Tyre & Industries Ltd. His research areas include converter topologies, solar PV systems, microgrids, and digital twin technologies. He has authored over 35 research publications in reputed journals such as IEEE Transactions and Springer. His recent work includes AI-IoT models for energy management and PV component health assessment. Dr. Choudhury also supervises Ph.D. scholars and actively contributes to IEEE initiatives and technical events. He has been involved in conferences like WIECON-ECE and ICIDeA and continues to foster innovation and collaboration in power systems.
