শীতের কথন ও পিঠা উৎসবে লাবণ্যর চিকিৎসা সহায়তায় ফুড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের ফুড স্টল উদ্যোগ

আগামীকাল শীতের কথন ও পিঠা উৎসবে ফুড ইঞ্জিনিয়ারিং বিভাগের শিক্ষার্থীরা একটি ফুড স্টল দিচ্ছি । এই আয়োজনের মূল উদ্দেশ্য আমাদের ডিপার্টমেন্টের ছোটবোন মেহেরিন চৌধুরী লাবণ্য–এর চিকিৎসা সহায়তায় পাশে দাঁড়ানো। এই উদ্যোগের সম্পূর্ণ প্রফিট লাবণ্যের চিকিৎসার জন্যে পৌঁছে দেওয়া হবে।

সাম্প্রতিক সময়ে লাবণ্যর Blood Cancer (T Cell Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia) শনাক্ত হয়েছে এবং ইতোমধ্যে তার কেমোথেরাপি শুরু হয়েছে। চিকিৎসকদের মতে, সামনে Bone Marrow Transplant প্রয়োজন হতে পারে, যা অত্যন্ত ব্যয়বহুল। পুরো চিকিৎসা প্রক্রিয়ায় আনুমানিক ৫০–৬০ লক্ষ টাকা প্রয়োজন। দুঃখজনকভাবে, লাবণ্যর বাবা আর বেঁচে নেই। এই কঠিন সময়ে পরিবারটি চরম আর্থিক ও মানসিক চাপে রয়েছে।

এই বাস্তবতায়, লাবণ্যর পাশে দাঁড়ানোই আমাদের সম্মিলিত মানবিক দায়িত্ব। আপনাদের প্রতিটি উপস্থিতি, প্রতিটি ক্রয় তার চিকিৎসার পথে একটি বাস্তব সহায়তা হয়ে উঠবে।

আসুন, শীতের এই উৎসবে পিঠার স্বাদ উপভোগের পাশাপাশি একটি জীবন বাঁচানোর যাত্রায় আমরা সবাই অংশ নিই।

A Defining Milestone for Our Department — Introducing “𝗕.𝗦𝗰. 𝗶𝗻 𝗙𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗘𝗻𝗴𝗶𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴”

We are thrilled to announce a proud moment for our department — the official renaming of our degree from B.Sc. in Food and Process Engineering to B.Sc. in Food Engineering.

This milestone marks more than a title change — it’s a strategic leap toward stronger national and international recognition, wider career opportunities in government and industry, and a modernized, globally aligned curriculum to meet the evolving needs of the food sector.

This remarkable achievement was made possible through the dedication of our faculty members and the significant contributions of the Food and Process Engineering Alumni Association (FAA).

ভাই/বন্ধুরা, অনেকদিন পর আবার সবাই একসাথে হওয়ার একটা জমজমাট কারণ পাইছি! 🎉
ক্লাস, ক্যান্টিন, প্রজেক্ট, ট্যুর—কত স্মৃতি জমে আছে মাথায়! 😌 এবার সেই পুরনো মুখগুলা আবার সামনে দেখার সময়।
গল্প হবে, হাসি হবে, খাওয়া-দাওয়া হবে—সব মিলায়া একদম হইচই টাইপ একটা সন্ধ্যা হতে যাচ্ছে!

এইবারের হোমকামিং ডিনারে শুধু reunion না, থাকবে আমাদের নিজেদের vibe, আমাদের crowd! 🔥
🎶 থাকবে কালচারাল ইভেন্ট — সবাই মিলে গান, মজা আর একটু শো-টাইম 😉

For a long time, one thing was missing—an Alumni Association.In 2024, after an Iftar Mahfil, we initiated a shadow alumni association.
