𝗨𝗽𝗱𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗼𝗻 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗽𝗮𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝗼𝗳 𝗡𝗮𝗳𝗲𝘂𝗹 𝗛𝗼𝘀𝘀𝗮𝗶𝗻 (𝗕𝗮𝘁𝗰𝗵 𝗼𝗳 𝟮𝟬𝟬𝟴)

The funds required for Nafe Hossain Ovi's funeral have already been arranged, and Bangladesh Muslim Funeral (BMF) in Australia, will not be needing any further contributions for this purpose.
However, unfortunately as there is no earning member in his family, Nafeul’s Batch 2008 of AKS,D has come together to raise funds internally to support his family, particularly his mother, who will be needing to travel from Bangladesh to proceed with the necessary arrangements during this difficult time.

Any additional support would mean a great deal. We warmly invite anyone who wishes to contribute or support in any way to come forward.

A life-changing opportunity through Aga Khan Academy Dhaka's Talent Identification System (100% scholarship).

If you know a promising student with demonstrated financial need planning to apply, reach out to us. Students referred through alumni support benefit from early guidance and hands-on mentoring, from application to interview preparation.

The Aga Khan Academy Dhaka invites applications from exceptional Grade 10 students to join the International Baccalaureate (IB) Diploma Programme for Grades 11 and 12.

Through the Talent Identification Programme, students will be selected based on academic merit, character and leadership potential, with up to 100% scholarship awarded based on demonstrated need.

Eligibility highlights:
* Currently in Grade 10 and preparing for SSC, IGCSE or O-Level examinations
* Minimum 85% average across Grades 8–10
* Strong motivation and readiness for the IB Diploma Programme

Together in compassion! AKSAB is deeply honored by the support of our respected teachers in extending help to the Korail community.

AKSAB Council Members have made on-ground visits to support the families affected by the Korail fire. Through the generous donations made to AKSAB, we were able to stand beside those in need by procuring and distributing emergency relief packages arranged by It's Humanity Foundation - IHF. In addition to this, our Batch Representatives made direct efforts to contribute by constantly providing food items and personally curated daily essentials for the affected families.

We remain committed to supporting the community as they recover and rebuild.

⚠️ ATTENTION ⚠️

Our hearts go out to the families affected by the devastating fire in Korail. Many have lost their homes, belongings, and the sense of security we often take for granted.

As a community rooted in compassion and service, AKSAB will be facilitating support through It's Humanity Foundation - IHF, who are already on the ground distributing emergency relief packages to affected families.

If you would like to contribute, you may send your donation to the following bKash (Personal) number: 📱 *01328982428*
and we will pass the total amount to It's Humanity Foundation.

IHF’s current relief packages include:
🟢 Clothing Support (BDT 2,200): Blankets, floor mats, winter clothes, shawls
🟢 Food Support (BDT 2,500): Children’s food, dry food packs, cooked meals, water
🟢 Hygiene & Safety (BDT 1,500): Sanitary pads, antiseptic cream, soap, savlon, burn cream, mosquito repellent, bucket & mug, torch light
🟢 Immediate Response Pack (BDT 4,500): A combined package covering clothing, food, hygiene, safety items, and essential supplies for families

All proceeds will be forwarded directly to IHF for relief efforts. As many organizations will be spending money on blankets and shelter related items, AKSAB will request our donations be spent on food support as that is a continuous need that needs to be replenished.

You can also contribute with your time. If you are interested in volunteering in person who help distribute or rebuild homes, please get in touch with me. Over the next few weeks IHF and we, will put together a schedule for volunteers to help in person. You will receive a sign up sheet and an IHF contact person will meet you on site.

Let us stand together and extend a hand to those who need it most.
