Calling all debaters (and future ones!) from all running batches, specially from K-80, K-81, and K-82. Come for the skills, stay for the thrill.

Our session on “Introduction to MediQuiz: Workshop & Competition”, held on Saturday, 20 September, was a wonderful experience filled with learning and engagement.

We extend our sincere thanks to Dr. Abrar Hasan for moderating the event and sharing his insights as an experienced quizzer. His thoughtful guidance made the session both informative and inspiring for all participants.

The enthusiasm and participation from attendees made the workshop truly worthwhile. Organized by the Dhaka Medical College Quizzing & Debating Society (DMCQDS), this event was a small but meaningful step toward promoting a culture of curiosity and collaborative learning within our community.

It’s just another “regular” day at the office for Tasdid Islam Turab, if you call winning big regular.
Turab has now claimed his third consecutive Debater of the Tournament title, this time at the 1st CMOSMHMCDC National Debate Tournament 2025.

But the glory didn’t stop there. Mehrab Hossain of DMCQDS 80’s Kid snatched the 2nd highest speaker’s score, while teammate Misbah Uz Zamal stormed into the Top 10.

For the third tournament in a row, this powerhouse team once again secured the highest team speaker’s points of the entire event.
Unfortunately, they didn’t participate in the quarterfinals due to some unexpected circumstances.

Tasdid Islam Turab from team DMCQDS 80's Kid,has done it again!
He has been crowned Debater of the Tournament (D.O.T) for two consecutive Inter-Medical Nationals—this time at CMCDC Synergy 1.0, 2025.

Three teams from DMCQDS participated in the fest. While it wasn’t a dream run overall, the fresh faces from Batch K-81 made a powerful impact.
The two teams from K-81—Labib, Khama, Kavi and Zawad, Ishat, Shafin—each won 2 out of their 3 tab rounds, showcasing brilliant potential and fiery performances.

The first debate workshop from DMCQDS was organized on 12th March, 2025, facilitated by Al Nafee, IBA, DU, Former President of RCDC on the topic of "Debate & Global Politics". The session boosted discussions on Global politics and its effects on economy, military dynamics and international relations. Members and debate enthusiasts of DMCQDS took part in the workshop which was followed by a heated practice debate on the relevant agenda, nurturing the essence of logical discussion and critical thinking among the participants.

Glory is an expectation—but what the teams from DMCQDS have delivered is far beyond that.
In a spectacular display of skill and eloquence, Team DMCQDS 80’s Kid—Misbah Uz Zamal, Tasdid Islam Turab, and Mehrab Hossain—have been crowned champions of the 1st SBMCDF Inter Medical Debate Competition-2025!

But their success doesn’t stop there—Turab (K-80) and Misbah (K-80) both earned the title of Debater of the Tournament (DOTs), with Turab also winning Debater of the Final (DOF)!

Meanwhile, DMCQDS 81’s brilliant debaters—Wahid Kabir Kavi, Tasnim Labib, and Mim Binte Alamgir Khama—broke 4th in the Team break, Labib secured the 4th Speaker Break, proving once again that DMCQDS debaters are a force to be reckoned with.
Let’s cheer for them! Their success keeps the DMCQDS legacy shining brighter than ever!
