​We are excited to share an important update regarding our organization’s journey. To ensure our mission remains independent and free from legal complexities, we have decided to transition from "Commonwealth Zero Alliance (CZA)" to our new global identity: Global Youth Zero Alliance (CZA Global).

​Why the change?
While our roots are within the Commonwealth, using the " " name involves strict legal and trademark regulations. To avoid any bureaucratic hurdles and to reach youth in every corner of the world without restrictions, we have chosen this more inclusive name.

​What remains the same?
Our core mission and vision are stronger than ever. We remain fully committed to our 5 Global Mandates including in the Commonwealth Countries:

1.​ Zero Hunger
2. ​Reduced Inequalities
3. ​Climate Protection
4. ​Corruption Prevention
5. ​World Peace

​Nothing will stop our progress. We are moving forward with even more energy to build a sustainable future. Our website remains www.czaglobal.org, symbolizing our legacy and our global future.

🇧🇩 of Bangladesh | A Message from the Founder of Commonwealth Zero Alliance (CZA)

Today, 16 December, we commemorate the Victory Day of — a historic day that symbolizes freedom, dignity, and the triumph of justice after immense sacrifice.

As a Bangladeshi and the Founder of the Commonwealth Zero Alliance (CZA), I felt a deep responsibility to mark this day through our global platform. This post reflects not only my national identity, but also the values that shape our mission as an international youth-led alliance.

The Liberation War of 1971 was not merely a struggle for independence; it was a stand against oppression, inequality, and injustice. These same principles continue to guide our work today.

At Commonwealth Zero Alliance, we believe the spirit of Bangladesh’s Victory aligns closely with our Five Zero Goals:

Zero Hunger
Zero Inequality
Zero Corruption
Zero Climate Crisis
Zero War

This is why, as Founder, I chose to share this message from Bangladesh — to honor our history while reaffirming our commitment to building a peaceful, just, and sustainable Commonwealth for future generations.

On this Victory Day, we remember the martyrs, honor the freedom fighters, and renew our promise to turn the values of independence into meaningful global action.

CSA’s Vice President for Democracy and Participation, Shaikh Rifad Mahmud has met with Hon. Shirley Botchwey, Secretary-General of the Commonwealth, during her visit to Bangladesh.

Their discussion focused on upcoming elections, political developments, and the Commonwealth’s new democracy-focused Strategic Plan. The Secretary-General emphasized inclusive engagement with stakeholders, while CSA reaffirmed its commitment to elevating student voices across the Commonwealth.

We are pleased to announce that CZA has appointed new District Ambassadors from the following new countries:

🇿🇦 South Africa
🇲🇿 Mozambique
🇨🇲 Cameroon
🇳🇦 Namibia

Each of them will now represent CZA in their respective districts through community leadership, clean-up actions, tree plantation drives, youth mobilization, and all core campaigns of the Commonwealth Zero Alliance.

This expansion marks another strong step toward building a united movement across the Commonwealth countries and beyond.

CZA Sierra Leone | Clean-Up Initiative
In Honour of His Majesty King Charles III’s Birthday

The Commonwealth Zero Alliance (CZA) team in Falaba District, Sierra Leone proudly carried out a community Clean-Up Activity today to mark the birthday of His Majesty King Charles III.

This initiative reflects CZA’s commitment to environmental action, public health, and grassroots leadership across Commonwealth communities. The Falaba District volunteers worked diligently to clear waste, improve sanitation, and raise awareness about the importance of a clean and healthy environment.

Their effort stands as a strong example of how local youth can contribute to a global mission — creating a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future.

We extend our gratitude to the CZA Falaba District team for their dedication and leadership in advancing the values of “Five Zero = Peace.”

CZA Zambia | Clean-Up Campaign
In Honour of His Majesty King Charles III’s Birthday

Today, the Commonwealth Zero Alliance (CZA) team in Zambia successfully conducted a Clean-Up Campaign at Kawama Urban Clinic in Kitwe, Zambia. This initiative was organised to commemorate the birthday of His Majesty King Charles III, reflecting our shared commitment to public service, environmental responsibility, and community well-being across the Commonwealth.

Our volunteers worked on-ground to clear waste, restore the surroundings, and promote a healthier environment for the local community. Their dedication represents the true spirit of CZA — taking meaningful action, not just words. This project was lead by CZA District Ambassador of Kitwe Mr. Jackson Muyembe

We extend our sincere appreciation to the CZA Kitwe, Zambia team for their leadership and initiative.
Real progress begins when young people come together for a cleaner, safer, and more sustainable future.
