EuroCham Business Evening 2026 | Delivering for European Businesses
On 20 January 2026, EuroCham Bangladesh hosted the EuroCham Business Evening 2026 at the United Convention Centre, Dhaka, convening EuroCham members, the EU Delegation and Member State Ambassadors, the European and Bangladeshi private sector, development partners, and Government of Bangladesh officials to strengthen EU–Bangladesh business cooperation.
Under the theme “Delivering for European Businesses,” the evening featured three key segments:
🔹 EuroCham Bangladesh’s first Annual General Meeting (AGM)
🔹 The Inaugural Advisory Council Meeting
🔹 A Networking Cocktail
The event included senior representatives from the European Union and EU Member States, including H.E. Ambassador Michael Miller (European Union); H.E. Dr. Rüdiger Lotz (Germany); H.E. Ambassador Christian Brix Moller (Denmark); H.E. Ambassador Nicolas Weeks (Sweden); H.E. Ambassador Gabriel Sistiaga Ochoa de Chinchetru (Spain); H.E. Ambassador Jean-Marc Séré-Charlet (France); Deputy Head of Mission Mr. Nicolaas Jan Koos Dijkstra (Netherlands); Deputy Head of Mission and Head of Trade Mrs. Anja Kersten (Germany); Trade Policy & Economics Attaché Donatella DI VIRGILIO (Italy) along with other senior trade and economic officials from EU Member States and partners, including the Dhaka Office of the Embassy of Hungary, and representatives from EuroCham Bangladesh’s Board.
The evening concluded with a networking cocktail, featuring remarks by EuroCham Chairperson Nuria Lopez and a keynote by H.E. Ambassador Michael Miller, themed “The EU Means Business in Bangladesh.”
