Nagarik Seba Sangstha (NSS)
Introduction:
Nagarik Seba Sangstha (NSS) is a Bangladeshi non-governmental organization founded by a group of passionate students from BAF Shaheen College Dhaka on October 1, 2024, shortly after the historic July-August Student Movement. NSS emerged from a shared commitment to support communities in need, with an initial focus on assisting those facing poverty and providing basic aid. Although NSS currently focuses on fundraising efforts, its mission is to expand into diverse community support programs, working towards a society where every citizen's dignity, rights, and well-being are prioritized and respected.
Nagarik Seba Sangstha (NSS) is a non-political, non-profit, non-governmental organization dedicated to uplifting underserved communities by providing essential resources. While currently focused on raising funds, NSS envisions promoting human rights, with a focus on the rights of women and children, and supporting education and health services in society.
Vision:
To build a compassionate and inclusive society where every person has theopportunity to live with dignity, access basic rights, and improve their quality of life.
Mission:
Our mission is to bring comfort and essential aid to vulnerable communities across Bangladesh. This winter, we aim to distribute blankets to those in need, funded through dedicated fundraising efforts. Looking ahead, we are committed to supporting flood-affected regions, providing assistance and relief to help rebuild lives impacted by annual floods. Through these actions, NSS seeks to stand by those inhardship, fostering resilience and community solidarity.
