Uttara University ( Textile Engineering Department) Champion at BNAF 2026
A proud moment for Uttara University as Team Palm Cooler from the Department of Textile Engineering, Uttara University secured the Champion title in the "300 Seconds Innovation: Poster Presentation" under the Textile & Sustainability category at the 1st BGMEA University of Fashion & Technology (BUFT) National Apparel Festival 2026 (BNAF 2026).
Competing against leading universities from across Bangladesh, the team demonstrated outstanding innovation, technical excellence, and a commitment to sustainable solutions for the textile and RMG industry. The championship-winning team comprised Aminul Islam Rohan, Farhan Nafeez, and Hurey Jannat, whose innovative project impressed the judges with its originality, feasibility, and potential impact on the textile and RMG sector.
