A new chapter begins, carrying forward the pride, passion, and principles that define DCRC. With deep respect for the Presidential Panel of 2025 and the memories they leave behind, we now welcome a new circle of torchbearers ready to guide us toward a brighter horizon.

DCRC proudly presents its Presidential Committee for the term 2026–2027 a team entrusted with upholding our legacy while shaping the future with vision, integrity, and dedication.

Ramadan has always been about reflection and connection, and this year’s DCRC Iftar Mahfil was a perfect reflection of that. It was more than just a gathering; it was a real moment of gratitude for everything we’ve built together.

There was a real sense of pride in the room as the 2025 presidential panel handed over their responsibilities to the incoming leaders of 2026—a transition that was done with grace and a shared vision of what’s next. We ended the evening with prayers and conversation, leaving with hearts full of nostalgia and a renewed excitement for the journey ahead.

February 25, 2009 could've been a usual sunny day. But history witnessed something so tragic that shook our nation to it’s core and questioned the integrity of our then government “the hasina regime”

Today marks the 17 years of BDR Mutiny. The massacre that left everyone shocked. Bangladesh lost some of it’s finest soldiers on this soul crushing day. Not even civilian survived the brutality. Weakening our country's military and selling our sovereignty to India was a plan successfully executed by the previous fascist regime. That started with BDR massacre.

we mourn the loss of our heroes. And honour their legacy by continuing to strive for a brighter future. May Allah grant them the highest place in Jannah!

“ আমার ভাইয়ের রক্তে রাঙানো একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারি, আমি কি ভুলিতে পারি! ”

মুখের ভাষা, মায়ের ভাষা যখন আক্রান্ত হয়েছিলো দেশমাতৃকার সূর্যসন্তানরা বুলেটের মুখে দাঁড়িয়ে পড়ে মাতৃভাষার মর্যাদা রক্ষায়। হানাদারের বুলেট সালাম, বরকত দের প্রাণ কেড়ে নিলেও প্রতিষ্ঠিত করতে সাহায্য করেছে বাঙালি জাতীয়তাবাদের ভীত। যা “রাষ্ট্রভাষা বাংলা চাই” থেকে শুরু হয়ে “এবারের সংগ্রাম স্বাধীনতার সংগ্রাম” এ রূপ নেয়।

যুগে যুগে আমি আসিয়াছি পুনঃ
এই আমি'র সমগ্র সত্তাকে ধারণ করে যেই অকুতোভয় চেতনা তা-ই ভাষা আন্দোলন। তাই আমাদের ইতিহাস ও ঐতিহ্য।

একুশে ফেব্রুয়ারিতে তাই রউফ কলেজের বিতর্ক সংগঠন সশ্রদ্ধচিত্তে স্মরণ করছে সেইসব বীর সন্তানদের যারা রক্ষা করেছেন ‘মোদের গরব, মোদের আশা, আ- মরি বাংলা ভাষা’।

Adjudicating is an intuitive skill that sharpens the ability of understanding debates broadly. Debaters of DCRC never fails to leave their remarks in the judging arena too.

Debating Club of Rouf College acknowledges the excellent adjudication skill of our very own Wasif Hossain Shotto, Vice President (Debate & Workshop) and Amina Binte Annesha, Executive Member, Batch 26. They became breaking adjudicators in the FZSDC Presents - Debate In Borderland. Additionally, Wasif Hossain Shotto became the top breaking adjudicator in the tournament.

DCRC wishes more successes to these talented individuals in their future endeavours.

DCRC is delighted to announce that our very own DCRC A consisting of Naira, Eamin and Tanzim ended their run as semi finalists of Scholastica Inter School Debate Tournament 2026. This is special as DCRC made its official english debut on the very arena's 2024's edition. That time, we were asked by several of the debaters, "What is DCRC". Today, we are proud to say we left our mark in the circuit, in a very short time. Additionally, Tanzim became the 2nd best open speaker with an average of 78.33, while naira broke as 5th speaker with an average of 78.12 . The entire team in the end broke 2nd in the open category. We are proud of those individuals who helped us shape our english wing, we are long way from home, and more to go!

DCRC বিদ্রোহী consisting Makinoon Ibnat Nuhin, Minhazul Arefin and Maksudur Rashid Sodoy became Quarterfinalists at ১ম ডাঃ জাফরুল্লাহ চৌধুরী স্মৃতি আন্তঃকলেজ জাতীয় বিতর্ক প্রতিযোগিতা ২০২৬ organized by GBDS. They broke 8th in the team tab with a total speaks of 800.
