The Bangladesh Semiconductor Industry Association (BSIA) successfully completed the Silicon Valley segment of the BSIA Silicon River USA Roadshow 2026, held from June 9–12, 2026 in California, USA.
The delegation was led by Professor Muhammad Mustafa Hussain, Chief Architect of Silicon River Bangladesh, together with Mr. M A Jabbar, President of BSIA, BSIA leaders, and participating member companies. The delegation engaged with global semiconductor leaders, research institutions, investors, innovation platforms, and Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) professionals to showcase Bangladesh’s growing capabilities in semiconductor design, advanced packaging, electronics, artificial intelligence, biotechnology, robotics, and innovation.
During the Silicon Valley engagements, the BSIA delegation held productive meetings with leading global organizations and distinguished technology leaders, including:
✅ SanDisk - meeting with Mr. Matt Crowley, Senior Vice President, and Mr. Deepanshu Dutta, Vice President
✅ GlobalFoundries - hosted by Dr. Mahbub Rashed, Vice President, Design Technology Co-Optimization (DTCO)
✅ Synopsys - meeting with Mr. Ron Duncan, Chief Innovation Officer
✅ CREDO - meeting with Dr. Shatil Haque, Associate Vice President
✅ Intel Corporation - engagement with Bangladeshi-origin Intel technologists under the leadership of Dr. Mahbub Majumder
