For women garment workers in Bangladesh, decent work goes beyond the factory floor. It means a safe and respectful workplace, fair opportunities to grow and lead, access to childcare and essential services, and the freedom to make decisions that shape their lives.
This is where Oporajita plays a role. By bringing together partners across skills and employment, enabling environments, and RMG competitiveness, Oporajita works to strengthen the wider ecosystem around women garment workers. From expanding access to skills and economic opportunities to supporting safer workplaces, childcare, social protection, and shifts in perceptions, the collective effort is about creating the conditions women need to have greater voice, choice, and opportunity.
