It is truly a proud and emotional moment for us that our beloved IPE teacher, Professor Dr. Engr. Mohammad Iqbal, has been appointed as the Vice Chancellor of DUET.

Prof. Iqbal is a founding faculty member of the IPE, SUST who led the department as Head for 13 years with great dedication and vision.

Prior to that, he earned his BSc Engg degree from India, MSc Engg from BUET, and PhD from Ireland.

We strongly believe that DUET will reach new heights under his visionary leadership.

Heartfelt congratulations and best wishes to our respected and beloved Dr. Iqbal Sir on this remarkable and well-deserved achievement.

We are pleased to announce that Mr. Ayan Barua was present as one of the distinguished speakers at SIPEAA Campus to Corporate program (09-May-2025).

He is a B2B technology entrepreneur with an academic background in Industrial Engineering. Prior to becoming a solution provider for the RMG industry, he amassed significant experience in Industrial Engineering and Supply Chain management within the apparel sector. Additionally, he played an instrumental role in several ERP implementation projects during his tenure in the industry.

We are pleased to share that Mr. Mamun Mahmud joined as one of the distinguished speakers at SIPEAA Campus to Corporate program (09-May-2025).

He has hands-on experience in demand planning, supply chain management, production planning, and inventory control, with a strong background in the consumer goods industry. Proficient in SAP, he brings specialized skills in demand, supply, and production planning, along with expertise in industrial engineering, continuous improvement, Kaizen, Total Quality Management (TQM), and manufacturing operations.
