On Wednesday, 29th April 2026, the Engineering Studentsโ€™ Association of Bangladesh (ESAB) AIUB Unit Face organized a hands-on workshop titled โ€œ๐–๐จ๐ซ๐ค ๐’๐ฆ๐š๐ซ๐ญ๐ž๐ซ ๐ฐ๐ข๐ญ๐ก ๐Œ๐ข๐œ๐ซ๐จ๐ฌ๐จ๐Ÿ๐ญ ๐„๐ฑ๐œ๐ž๐ฅ: ๐‹๐ž๐š๐ซ๐ง, ๐๐ซ๐š๐œ๐ญ๐ข๐œ๐ž ๐š๐ง๐ ๐€๐ฉ๐ฉ๐ฅ๐ฒโ€at the AIUB Campus.

The session was conducted by Mr. Abir Ahmed, Assistant Professor & Special Assistant [EEE], Department of Computer Engineering, Faculty of Engineering, AIUB. Participants learned practical Excel skills focused on working smarter through essential functions, data analysis tools, visualization techniques, and productivity shortcuts. The workshop followed a โ€œLearn, Practice and Applyโ€ approach, allowing attendees to actively engage with real-world scenarios and enhance their spreadsheet proficiency.

The interactive two-hour session (4:00 PM โ€“ 6:00 PM) was well-received by engineering students who joined to boost their technical and professional skills.

On Wednesday, 22nd April, 2026, the Engineering Studentsโ€™ Association of Bangladesh (ESAB) AIUB Unit Face organized a seminar titled โ€œThe Silicon Oxynitride (SiOโ‚‚Nโ‚ƒโ€“SION), Gate Controlled Material for SiC-based MOSFET: From Unexpected Growth to Current Potentialsโ€ at Annex-3, AIUB.

The session featured Dr. Md. Kabiruzzaman, Associate Professor, Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering, AIUB, as the speaker. Around 50 participants attended the seminar and actively engaged in discussions to deepen their understanding of advanced semiconductor materials and their applications in modern power electronics, particularly SiC-based MOSFET technology.
