As we approach a new chapter in our club journey, preparations for our upcoming Installation Ceremony are officially underway.

The 683th General Meeting was conducted on 18 September 2026 at 10:00 PM with productive discussions, thoughtful ideas, and active participation from our members. The meeting focused on planning and organizing the upcoming Installation Program and ensuring that every aspect is carried out with proper coordination and dedication.

Key Areas Discussed:

• Overall concept and structure of the Installation Program
• Program schedule and activities
• Distribution of responsibilities among club members
• Coordination and ex*****on of different segments
• Necessary preparations for a successful and memorable ceremony

Most importantly, responsibilities have been assigned to the respective members, marking an important transition from planning to ex*****on. With teamwork, commitment, and collective effort, we look forward to bringing our plans into action.

The Installation Ceremony will not simply mark a formal transition; it will celebrate leadership, legacy, fellowship, teamwork, and the beginning of a new chapter for the Rotaract Club of Dhaka Udayan.

৫০ বছর বয়সী মেইদিনলিউ নিউমাইয়ের কাছে ১৭টি শিশুকে পোলিও টিকা দেওয়া ছিল শুধু দায়িত্ব নয়, মানবিক অঙ্গীকার। দুর্গম পথ, ঘন জঙ্গল ও পাঁচটি নদীর বাধা পেরিয়ে তিনি প্রায় ২৮ কিলোমিটার হেঁটেছেন। টানা ৮ ঘণ্টার এই কষ্টকর যাত্রা শেষে প্রত্যন্ত এলাকায় পৌঁছে সব শিশুকেই টিকা দেন।

The words spoken at home often stay louder than any lesson taught in a classroom.

For generations, societal stereotypes have told girls what they cannot do—“Girls are weak at math,” “Engineering is for men,” or “A daughter’s ultimate destination is the household.”

But at Project “উড়াল” (Ural), we believe that if we truly want children to soar, we must first change the ground they stand on. And that ground begins at home.

As part of the 4th Session of Project উড়াল – Phase: Educate & Motivate, we invited the parents of our Grade 3, 7, and 8 students to join us for a meaningful conversation about dreams, gender stereotypes, education, and the future of their children.

We were honored to welcome Rtr.Nourin Nahar Hridy, CSE Engineer, Software Executive at STC Bangladesh, and Theatre & Gender Activist, as our session facilitator.

Through her personal journey and powerful storytelling, Nourin encouraged parents to look beyond traditional expectations and support their daughters in pursuing their dreams—whether that means becoming an engineer, a professional, an artist, an entrepreneur, or anything they aspire to be.

The session created a beautiful space where parents listened to their children's aspirations and reflected on how family support can either become a barrier or a bridge to their future.

And the most beautiful outcome?

By the end of the session, every parent committed to supporting their child's dreams, listening to their ambitions, and creating a home where their children can grow without limits.

Because sometimes, changing a generation begins with changing the words spoken at home.

Let’s not clip their wings.
Let’s be the reason they learn to fly. 🪽

Exciting Partnership Announcement!

We are thrilled to announce a meaningful new partnership between DUMNI উড়ান CLUB, based at Dumni Government Primary School, and the Rotaract Club of Dhaka Udayan on 22 August 2026.

Together, we are joining forces to support children and create a more inclusive, confident, and empowered generation.

Our Mission

Empowering Youth:
DUMNI উড়ান CLUB is a student-led gender-equity initiative working to challenge gender stereotypes, promote girls’ education, and prevent early marriage.

Breaking Barriers:
A recent school baseline survey found that 67.3% of Grade 3 students and 63.3% of Grade 7 & 8 students had previously been told they could not achieve something simply because of their gender.

This partnership aims to continuously raise awareness, build confidence, and ensure that every new generation of students knows that their dreams are not limited by their gender.

682nd Regular Meeting
We are pleased to share that the 682nd Regular Meeting of the Rotaract Club of Dhaka Udayan was successfully held on 22nd August 2026.

The meeting focused on our upcoming projects and, most importantly, our upcoming Installation Program, as we prepare for another exciting and impactful Rotaract year.

We were truly honored to have the presence of Rtn. Abu Nawaz Bhai, Rtn PP Md Rafiqul Islam Rowly, and Rtn Syeda Gulru Hasan, respected Rotarians from the Rotary Club of Dhaka, whose valuable presence and guidance made the meeting even more meaningful.

Another proud moment was the signing of an MoU with Dumni Ural Club, marking the beginning of a new collaboration for future initiatives and community service.

We are delighted to celebrate the successful completion of Cohort 1 of the ACI Sales Accelerator Program, with the closing ceremony held on 12 August 2026.

The program provided participants with practical exposure to real-world sales calls, effective communication, customer interaction, and essential sales skills—valuable knowledge for any professional career.
