Bangladesh International Mediation Society

‘Bangladesh International Mediation Society’ is the first International Mediation Institute of Bangladesh. It is non-profit and non-political society and working from 31st May, 2017. The objectives of the society are ;

(i) To carry on humanitarian, charitable program among the poor people. (ii) To fostering peace in society and improving professional skills. (iii) To take initiative for enhancing knowledge of loving kindness and patient acceptance. (iv) To train in the field of conflict prevention and peace building. (v) To aware the common people for their legal and ethical issued in mediation. (vi) To aware fundamental and advance concept in interest based conflict management. (vii) To train drafting of settlement agreements. (viii) To train on mediation. (ix) To publicity mediation works among the litigant people. (x) To establish mediation research centre. (xi) To train Law student/Advocate for increasing their performances by ensuring advanced legal education system. (xii) To provide support and promote the premier national and international dispute regulation service through mediation process.

Bangladesh International Mediation Society introduced its ‘Mediation Rules’ in July, 2017 and also introduced Mediators’ Code of Conduct, 2017.
