In Loving Memory of Yawer Sayeed
It is with profound sorrow and deep sadness that we announce the passing of Yawer Sayeed, a distinguished alumnus of the MBA 14th Batch of the Institute of Business Administration (IBA), University of Dhaka, and a valued Life Member of the Bangladesh MBA Association.
Yawer had been courageously battling lung cancer over the past six months and was undergoing treatment in Australia. Despite the immense challenges he faced, he demonstrated remarkable strength, dignity, and resilience throughout his journey.
Yawer was a truly gentle soul—warm, friendly, humble, and exceptionally knowledgeable. His kindness, sincerity, and pleasant demeanor earned him the affection and respect of everyone who had the privilege of knowing him. Whether among friends, classmates, colleagues, or fellow alumni, he was admired for his thoughtful nature, intellectual depth, and unwavering goodwill.
His passing leaves a profound void in the hearts of his family, friends, classmates, and the wider IBA and Bangladesh MBA Association communities. While we mourn the loss of a cherished friend and respected alumnus, we remain grateful for the countless memories, friendships, and positive impact he leaves behind.
On behalf of the Bangladesh MBA Association, we extend our heartfelt condolences to his bereaved family and loved ones during this difficult time.
May Allah (SWT) forgive his shortcomings, accept his good deeds, and grant him the highest place in Jannatul Firdaus. Ameen.
Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un
(“Indeed, we belong to Allah, and indeed, to Him we shall return.”)
May his family and loved ones find strength and comfort during this difficult time.
