JCI Dhaka Uptown JCI Bangladesh has been affiliated with Junior Chamber International (JCI) since 2000.

JCI Dhaka Uptown is the latest chapter of JCI Bangladesh which aims in empowering Business Incubators for Economic Development for the young citizens who believe change is possible positively. JCI is a worldwide community of young active citizens ages 18-40 who share the belief that in order to create positive change, we must take collective action to improve ourselves and the world around us. Junior Chamber International (JCI) is worldwide leadership organization for young professionals and entrepreneurs between the ages of 18 and 40. The organization is found in 110 countries and has a membership of 200,000 across the world. The mission of JCI is “to contribute to the advancement of the global community by providing the opportunity for young people to develop the leadership skills. JCI Dhaka Uptown is the newest & the last chapter in Dhaka for JCI Bangladesh. We strive to provide development opportunities that empower young people to create positive change.

‎জুনিয়র চেম্বার ইন্টারন্যাশনাল (জেসিআই) বাংলাদেশের ২০২৬ কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটির ক্লাব অ্যাফেয়ার্স চেয়ারপারসন হয়েছেন ফয়জুন্নুর আখন। রাজধানীর একটি পাঁচ তারকা হোটেলে জমকালো অনুষ্ঠানের মধ্য দিয়ে কমিটি ঘোষণা করা হয়।

‎এসময় নির্বাচন কমিশনারের দায়িত্ব পালন করেন ২০২৪ মেয়াদের ন্যাশনাল প্রেসিডেন্ট ইমরান কাদির।

‎মো. ফয়জুন্নুর আখন কে জেসিআই বাংলাদেশের ২০২৬ কার্যনির্বাহী কমিটির ক্লাব অ্যাফেয়ার্স চেয়ারপারসন হিসেবে দায়িত্ব প্রদান করা হয়। তাকে শপথবাক্য পাঠ করান ২০২৬ মেয়াদের ন্যাশনাল প্রেসিডেন্ট আরেফিন রাফি আহমেদ।

‎এছাড়াও মো. ফয়জুন্নুর ২০২৫ এ জেসিআই বাংলাদেশের ন্যাশনাল ভাইস প্রেসিডেন্টের দায়িত্ব পালন করেছেন।

‎এছাড়াও মো. ফয়জুন্নুর আখন এশিয়া প্যাসিফিক ডেভেলপমেন্ট কাউন্সিল এপিডিসির ২০২৫-২০২৬ ডেভেলপমেন্ট অফিসার হিসেবে থাইল্যান্ডের দায়িত্ব পালন করছে। ২০২৪ সালে জেসিআই ঢাকা আপ ডাউনের প্রেসিডেন্টের দায়িত্ব পালন করেন।

‎উল্লেখ্য, জুনিয়র চেম্বার ইন্টারন্যাশনাল (জেসিআই) ১৮ থেকে ৪০ বছর বয়সী উদ্যমী তরুণদের একটি সংগঠন। জেসিআই সদর দপ্তর যুক্তরাষ্ট্রের মিসৌরির সেন্ট লুইসে অবস্থিত। ১০৯টিরও বেশি দেশে এর কার্যক্রম রয়েছে এবং সারা বিশ্বে এর সদস্য সংখ্যা দুই লাখের বেশি। বাংলাদেশে জেসিআইয়ের প্রায় ৪8টি লোকাল চ্যাপ্টার কাজ করছে।
