What is Lal Sobuj Foundation:
A dream to make a better Bangladesh enforces to build a platform where every people can engage themselves to social work. The journey of Lal Sobuj Foundation (previously known as Social Development Organization) started with this motive. Now our organization is working with more than 60 volunteers to fulfill this dre

am. The origin of Lal Sobuj Foundation:
In the mid-day of 16th march, three students were having their lunch at school. Suddenly they saw a children crying because of the extreme pain of hunger. So, they decided to do something that mitigates the poverty & suffering of the people. For making a better Bangladesh, they tried to collect a group of people who were really fascinated for the social work. Getting little response at that time, they did not lose hope. With a determined purpose, they were planning to do something for the country. In 26th march 2009, they formed a voluntary organization in Chandpur. In 2012, the organization opened its another branch in Dhaka. It was initially named as Social Development organization. But later it changed the name into Lal Sobuj Foundation. What are the main objectives of Lal Sobuj foundation?
• To provide the educational facility to the deprived children of the society. Facilitate their education by providing free educational instrument.
• To create awareness for the village people & encouraging them to send their children to the school.
• To create free primary school for the needy people.
• To facilitate the girl’s education by providing incentives & Scholarship.
• To organize the tree plantation program & create awareness for bringing the environmental sustainability.
• To establish a vocational school to train up the unemployed people for self employment.
• To run free medical service for the people under poverty line. Is Lal Sobuj Foundation being registered officially? Yes, Lal Sobuj Foundation is a registered non-profit organization at the ‘Office of Registrar of Joint Stock Companies and Firms’ under the Societies Registration Act, 1860.. The future plan of Lal Sobuj Foundation:
The future plans of Lal Sobuj Foundation are to establish a primary school & vocational school for the unprivileged people. Spread the light of education among 1000 people & Engage 500 jobless people in self employment within 2022. How do Lal Sobuj collect fund :
Lal Sobuj Foundation is run by the donation of its member. Lal Sobuj has three types of member :General, Special, Donor. All the expense of the organization is borne by its member. Some corporate firms also provide us monetary incentive. How can one get involved with Lal Sobuj :
Anyone with a helping heart can easily get involved with the LSF by providing the member registration fee of TK 200. The monthly subscription for general member is at least TK 150 & for special member is TK 1000. Every member is bound to follow the rules of the organization & pay the monthly subscription. The entire general member must participate in the field work. How can one give donation to Lal Sobuj :
The process to donate for the betterment of the people is quite easy. One can give donation by coming directly to our office or through Bank account & Bkash number. Details are given in the website. Which is the main project of Lal Sobuj :
The main project of Lal Sobuj Foundation is Lal Sobuj School. What is Lal Sobuj School:
Lal Sobuj School is the running project of Lal Sobuj Foundation. The school provides free education to street children. Through this project we want to spread the light of education to the poor kids and also try to support their basic needs except shelter. History behind Lal Sobuj School :
In November 2012, the idea to make “Better Bangladesh” through the light of education came true with establishment of Lal Sobuj School for the street children. The school was started at Dhanmondi Lake with 4 students. After one week, the school was filled with 20 bright students. All of them were the street workers. Involving them in educational process was a tough task. The member of LSF consulted with the street children’s parent & provided them financial incentive for allowing their children for study. Now we are educating 60 street children of different classes. The reason behind the establishment of Lal Sobuj School:
Lal Sobuj Foundation aims to support the most vulnerable children who are parentless (or whose parents are in dangerous occupations), homeless, ill-fed, ill-clothed and devoid of parental care. Having no shelter, food, education, healthcare, social security and parental care they are compelled to be involved in unsafe works for their mere survival. This project helps the orphans and underprivileged children to continue their studies. In addition to getting financial assistance to pay the school fees, buy books, cloths, shoes, educational material and private tuition, in this program children are benefited from more individual attention by our project directors and project committee (Lal Sobuj Foundation members).

একটা ছোট উদ্যোগ থেকে শুরু করে আজকের এই পথচলা । শিক্ষা, দক্ষতা উন্নয়ন, ত্রাণ কার্যক্রম, সচেতনতা এবং মানবিক উদ্যোগে আমরা পাশে থাকার চেষ্টা করেছি অসংখ্য মানুষের।

লাল সবুজ স্কুল, এক্সপার্ট বাংলাদেশ ট্রেনিং সেন্টার, বিভিন্ন ইভেন্ট ও সামাজিক কার্যক্রম সবকিছু মিলিয়ে এই ১৭ বছরের যাত্রা গড়ে উঠেছে আপনাদের ভালোবাসা, সহযোগিতা আর বিশ্বাসে।

এখনও অনেক পথ বাকি, অনেক স্বপ্ন অপূর্ণ তবুও আলহামদুলিল্লাহ এই পর্যন্ত আসার জন্য।

লাল সবুজ স্কুল থেকে ২০২৫ সালের এসএসসি পরীক্ষায় ৩ জন অংশ নেয় ।

বিজ্ঞান বিভাগ থেকে ২ জনের মধ্যে একজন ৩.৫৪ পেয়ে উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছে এবং একজন শিক্ষার্থীর এক বিষয়ে খারাপ এসেছে ।
মানবিক বিভাগ থেকে একজন শিক্ষার্থী ২.৯৪ পেয়ে উত্তীর্ণ হয়েছে । পাসের হার: ৬৬.৬৭% ।

আমরা আরেকটু ভালো ফলাফল আশা করেছিলাম কিন্তু যেকোন কারণেই হোক আশানুরূপ ফলাফল পাইনি । আশা করছি সবাই বরাবরের মতো আমাদের পাশে থাকবেন । এবং আমাদের সকল সুবিধাবঞ্চিত শিক্ষার্থীদের জন্য দোয়া করবেন ।

বাংলা নববর্ষ ১৪৩২-কে ঘিরে রাজধানী ঢাকায় অনুষ্ঠিত হতে যাচ্ছে Gigabyte Presents RunRise Nation Noboborsho Run 1432, একটি প্রাণবন্ত দৌড় প্রতিযোগিতা যা স্বাস্থ্যের সচেতনতা এবং কমিউনিটির বন্ধন দৃঢ় করতে একটি ব্যতিক্রমী উদ্যোগ হিসেবে বিবেচিত।

এই ইভেন্টে দেশের বিভিন্ন প্রান্ত থেকে প্রায় ১১০০ রানার অংশ নিচ্ছেন, যার মধ্যে প্রায় ২২০ জন অংশ নিচ্ছেন লাইভ ইভেন্টে যা অনুষ্ঠিত হবে ১২ই এপ্রিল ২০২৫, চন্দ্রিমা (জিয়া) উদ্যানে, সকাল ০৫:৩০ মিনিটে শুরু হয়ে যা সকাল ০৮:৩০ মিনিটে শেষ হবে এবং ৮৮০ জন অংশ নিচ্ছেন ভার্চুয়াল ক্যাটাগরিতে যার দৌড়ের সময়সীমা ০১-২০ এপ্রিল ২০২৫ । বিশেষভাবে গর্বের বিষয়, এই ইভেন্টে প্রায় ৬০০ জন শিক্ষার্থী ও ৩০০-৪০০ জন নতুন রানার অংশ নিচ্ছেন, যা ভবিষ্যতে স্বাস্থ্য সচেতন সমাজ গঠনে এক বড় অনুপ্রেরণা। আমরা বিশ্বাস করি, একসাথে দৌড়ালে একসাথে এগিয়ে যাওয়া যায় ।

ইভেন্টে অংশগ্রহণকারী সকল রানারকে প্রদান করা হবে চায়নায় তৈরি ফিনিশার মেডেল, বিশেষ গিফট এবং আরও অনেক চমৎকার উপহার, যা তাদের রানিং অভিজ্ঞতাকে করে তুলবে আরও আনন্দময় ও স্মরণীয়।

200 Blankets Distributed to Those in Need!

Friday at midnight, we successfully distributed 200 blankets to those sleeping on the streets of Dhaka, seeking out the most vulnerable—people without any blankets or warm clothing to protect them from the harsh winter cold.

Lal Sobuj Foundation invites you to join our Blanket Distribution Event tonight (23rd January 2025) at midnight on the streets of Dhaka. Together with our Event Partner Tradevision Limited and Community Partner RunRise Nation, we are on a mission to spread warmth and comfort to those in need during this cold winter.

This is more than just an event—it’s a chance to stand by humanity and make a real difference. Let’s come together and ensure no one sleeps in the cold.
