His story shows that with proper guidance, technical support, and hard work, small-scale farming can be profitable and sustainable. 🌱

🍓 মো: কায়ছারের টেকসই আয়ের গল্প

ANANDO organized a mass awareness program on 25 January 2026 in Satkhira to prevent child marriage, polygamy, and the dowry system, addressing deep-rooted social practices that undermine human dignity, gender equality, and sustainable development in climate-vulnerable coastal communities.

The event was conducted under the "Community-Led Climate Resilient and Sustainable Livelihood Program in Coastal Areas of Satkhira District (BGD 1057)", reinforcing the understanding that social justice and women’s rights are integral to building long-term climate resilience.

Through community dialogue and collective reflection, the program aimed to empower local people to challenge harmful norms and promote inclusive, rights-based social change. The initiative was funded by BMZ, received technical support from Welthungerhilfe (WHH), and was implemented by ANANDO.
