Someone else’s confidence can grow because you chose to believe in them. That is leadership in action.

On 25 September, the Leadership Development Series brought together 60+ participants for Session 2 with Mr. Bertrand Rajon, a Swiss-French leadership and business transformation expert with over 30 years of experience at Nestlé.

The session explored “Leadership in Action: How Being a Successful Leader Starts from Others” - a theme that invites us to look beyond our own ambitions and consider how we help others move forward.

For every young woman preparing to lead, your journey can begin today. Ask a thoughtful question. Make space for a quieter voice. Help a peer take a step she feels uncertain about. These everyday choices shape the leader you become.

Our sincere thanks to Mr. Rajon for sharing his experience and perspectives and to every participant who brought curiosity and commitment to the conversation.

Through the collaboration of the School of Entrepreneurship Development (SED) and Future Leaders Collective - AUW at the Asian University For Women, we continue creating opportunities for young women to learn directly from experienced leaders.

𝗦𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗼𝗻𝗻𝗲𝗰𝘁𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝗗𝗼𝘁𝘀 | 𝗖𝗼𝗿𝗽𝗼𝗿𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝗩𝗶𝘀𝗶𝘁

Learning becomes more meaningful when students step beyond the classroom, meet professionals, ask questions and experience the corporate world firsthand.

As part of SED’s Connecting the Dots initiative, 14 students from the University of Dhaka received the opportunity to visit the head office of Abdul Monem Ltd (Coca-Cola, AM Bran Oil) and learn directly from experienced industry professional.

Our sincere thanks to Mr Auhidul Islam, Group HR Head, Abdul Monem Ltd (Coca-Cola, AM Bran Oil) for warmly welcoming the students, sharing his professional experiences and insights and encouraging them to think seriously about their future careers and personal growth.

What makes this student group particularly inspiring is their dedication to learning beyond their comfort zone.

They had the courage to enter a corporate environment, connect with professionals, engage in meaningful conversations, ask questions and learn from real-world experience.

That is one of the most important ways young people grow - by being curious, taking initiative, building connections and continuously exposing themselves to new perspectives.

Through Connecting the Dots, the School of Entrepreneurship Development (SED) aims to create more opportunities where students can connect directly with industry professionals and better understand career pathways, workplace expectations and the skills required for the future.

To all 14 participants: keep learning, keep connecting and keep challenging yourselves to go beyond your comfort zone.
