Get ready for the "6th World Nomad Games 2026"

To be held in the Kyrgyz Republic from 31 August to 6 September 2026. The World Nomad Games serve as a unique international platform where diverse cultures, traditions, values, and athletic practices come together in the spirit of friendship and unity.

For one remarkable week, the Kyrgyz Republic will become the global center of intercultural dialogue, showcasing traditional sports, crafts, music, and the rich heritage of nomadic civilizations, alongside discussions by experts in the fields of culture, ecology, and traditional knowledge.

The Games are built upon three major pillars: Ethnosport, Ethnoculture, and Science combined with Traditional Knowledge, reflecting the deep historical and cultural roots of nomadic communities around the world.

First launched in 2014 in the Kyrgyz Republic, the World Nomad Games have since evolved into a prestigious international movement, recognized by the United Nations as an important platform for intercultural dialogue and sustainable development. Today, delegations from more than 90 countries proudly participate in this global celebration of heritage and traditional sports.

From Central Asia to Türkiye and Kazakhstan, the World Nomad Games continue to unite nations through the shared values of culture, tradition, and sportsmanship.

It is a profound honor that the President of our Association, Mr. Md Al Mamun, participated as an esteemed guest, at the gracious invitation of His Excellency Mr. Lulzim Pllana, Ambassador of the Republic of Kosovo🇽🇰 to Bangladesh🇧🇩, in the Reception commemorating the 18th Anniversary of the Independence of the Republic of Kosovo, held on 19 April 2026. The event was elegantly hosted by the Embassy of the Republic of Kosovo in Bangladesh.

This distinguished occasion brought together ambassadors from various countries, esteemed members of the diplomatic corps, and senior officials of the Government of Bangladesh, reflecting the spirit of friendship and international cooperation.

Thursday, 19 February, A distinguished delegation led by His Excellency Mr. Bilal Erdoğan, son of the President of the Republic of Türkiye and President of the World Ethnosport Union, visited the Rohingya camps in Cox's Bazar.

During the visit, Mr. Al Mamun, President of the International Ethnosport Bangladesh Association, held a cordial meeting with His Excellency Mr. Bilal Erdoğan and members of the Turkish delegation. The delegation included FIFA World Cup–winning football star Mr. Mesut Özil and Mr. Abdullah Eren, President of the Turkish Cooperation and Coordination Agency , along with other senior representatives.

As part of the programme, H.E Mr. Bilal Erdoğan and members of the delegation participated in a charity football match with Rohingya youth at the camp grounds. The delegation also visited facilities supported by the Government of Türkiye, including the field hospital and various initiatives focused on environmental management, healthcare services, and educational development. They took time to engage with children and assess their immediate needs.

In the evening, the delegation joined members of the Rohingya community for Iftar, reflecting solidarity and continued humanitarian commitment. 🇧🇩🤝🇹🇷
