In 2025, BRAC Bank reached an unprecedented milestone in the banking history of Bangladesh, achieving a record annual profit of BDT 2,251 crore . This represents a staggering 57% growth compared to the BDT 1,432 crore earned in 2024. Remarkably, the bank’s profit in the first nine months of 2025 alone reached BDT 1,535 crore, surpassing its total annual profit for the entirety of 2024.

The primary catalyst for this extraordinary growth was income from investments in government securities , which surged by 71% in the first half of the year to reach BDT 2,044 crore . Furthermore, the bank's subsidiary, bKash, bolstered overall earnings by registering an 88% growth in profit. On the Dhaka Stock Exchange (DSE) , BRAC Bank is now recognized as the third-largest listed company by market capitalization and the highest-valued local bank .

Tareq Refat Ullah Khan , MD & CEO of the bank, stated:

Every new beginning carries a unique feeling—and embracing that spirit, the ACPS Business and Economics Club (ASBEC) organized their Member Orientation Program.

During the event, a well-structured presentation highlighted the club’s goals, activities, and future plans for the participating students. In addition, the GK Quiz segment added a lively touch to the program, giving students an opportunity to test their knowledge and analytical skills.

A special highlight of the event was a session conducted by representatives of the Notre Dame Business Club, where they provided detailed insights into UIU Presents Business Fest Bangladesh 2026 | Edition-X, Powered by Banglay IELTS. The presentation opened up new possibilities and experiences for the participants.

Overall, the program was informative, well-balanced, and marked a meaningful beginning for the future—where every moment inspired learning.

ACPS Business and Economics Club (ASBEC) is going to organize a Member Orientation Program, designed to serve as a platform for developing leadership, knowledge, and professional growth.

Through this program, participants will gain a clear understanding of the club’s vision, operational structure, and its academic as well as co-curricular activities. A General Knowledge (GK) Quiz will also be held, providing an opportunity to assess analytical thinking and knowledge. Interested students will be able to collect the Membership Form directly during the program.

As a key segment of the event, a Special Session will be conducted by the representatives of
Notre Dame Business Club.

All students interested in developing business insight and leadership skills are encouraged to attend.

কালের স্রোতে ভেসে আসছে আরও একটি নতুন ভোর, বাংলা ১৪৩২ সালকে বিদায় জানিয়ে আমরা আজ দ্বারে বরণ করছি ১৪৩৩ বঙ্গাব্দকে। পহেলা বৈশাখ কেবল একটি তারিখ নয়; এটি বাঙালির হৃদয়ের গভীরে প্রোথিত সেই চিরন্তন অনুভূতি, যা প্রতিবছর নতুন করে মনে করিয়ে দেয়— প্রতিটি শেষের পরেই আসে এক উজ্জ্বল, সম্ভাবনাময় শুরু।

বৈশাখের রোদ্দুরে ঝলমল করে ওঠে আমাদের সংস্কৃতি, ঐতিহ্য আর একতার বন্ধন। ব্যবসা-বাণিজ্যে হালখাতার পাতায় যেমন নতুন হিসাব শুরু হয়, তেমনি জীবনের খাতায়ও লেখা হোক নতুন স্বপ্নের গল্প। যান্ত্রিক জীবনের ব্যস্ততার মাঝেও আজ একটু থামি, ফিরে তাকাই আমাদের শেকড়ের দিকে— কারণ সমৃদ্ধির পথ সবসময় শুরু হয় নিজের পরিচয়কে সম্মান জানানো থেকেই।
