𝗥𝗮𝗺𝗶𝘀𝗵𝗮 was not merely a child.
She was a life full of dreams, innocence, and endless possibilities — a future that deserved care, protection, and love. The brutality that took her away is not just a tragedy for one family; it is a painful reflection of the insecurity and silence that still exist around us.

A child should never have to become a symbol of injustice.

𝗦𝗶𝗹𝗲𝗻𝗰𝗲 𝗜𝗦 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗡𝗘𝗨𝗧𝗥𝗔𝗟.
When humanity is wounded, remaining silent only strengthens injustice.

As a chapter committed to justice, human dignity, and legal awareness, 𝗡𝗜𝗟𝗦 𝗕𝗮𝗻𝗴𝗹𝗮𝗱𝗲𝘀𝗵 𝗨𝗻𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗿𝘀𝗶𝘁𝘆 𝗖𝗵𝗮𝗽𝘁𝗲𝗿 stands beside Ramisha and every victim whose voice deserves to be heard. We demand accountability, proper justice, and stronger protection for every child in our society.

Justice should not remain a slogan after tragedy.
It must become a reality through action, awareness, and collective responsibility.

May Day isn't a ritual of remembrance. It's a reckoning. A reminder that every structure of progress we stand on was built by hands too often unseen, unheard, and underpaid.
So this day demands something from us. We have to question the quiet normalization of exploitation dressed up as "hard work." We have to confront the persistent imbalance between those who produce value and those who simply accumulate it.
We live in an age where labor is fragmented, digitized, outsourced. And the spirit of May Day asks us: what does dignity in work truly mean? It's not just about wages. It's about voice. Safety. Equity. Respect.
For us at NILS, our responsibility is clear. Not to romanticize struggle, but to interrogate systems. Not to whisper comfort, but to amplify silenced narratives. And to insist, uncomfortably and persistently, that justice for workers is not optional. It is foundational.
This International Workers' Day, we pray and we hope. That every worker across this country finds their rightful place. Claims their due rights. And is never again neglected.
