সকলকে জানাই নববর্ষের আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা।

এসো হে বৈশাখ, এসো এসো!

বাংলা নববর্ষ একটি অনন্য অনুভূতি নিয়ে আসে। এটি একটি নতুন শুরু, একটু স্বস্তি, এবং নিজের শিকড়ের সন্ধান । মুঘল সম্রাট আকবরের সময় বঙ্গাব্দের শুরু হয়েছিল, এবং আজ এটি শুধু মাত্র পঞ্জিকা নয়, বরং আমাদের প্রাণের উৎসব। সকালের মেলা, আলপনার রঙ, পান্তা-ইলিশের স্বাদ, এবং চারদিকে নতুনের আভা। পহেলা বৈশাখ আমাদের সবাইকে একসাথে কিছু আনন্দের মাঝে একসাথে বসিয়ে রাখে।

রবীন্দ্রনাথ ঠাকুর বলেছিলেন, “পুরাতনকে লইয়া করো হেলা, নতুনেরে করো গ্রহণ"। কথাগুলো আজও ঠিক ততটাই সত্যি লাগে।

নজরুলের চিরচেনা ডাকে, “আমরা নতুনের গান গাই"। মনে হয়, সত্যিই তো, নতুন করে স্বপ্ন দেখার সময় এখনই।

বিএএফ শাহীন কলেজ ঢাকা কালচারাল ক্লাবের পক্ষ থেকে সবাইকে পহেলা বৈশাখের আন্তরিক শুভেচ্ছা জানাই। সংগীত, নৃত্য, আবৃত্তি—সবকিছুর মাঝে ছড়িয়ে থাকুক এবং নতুন বছরটি হোক একটু বেশি হাসির, কম চিন্তার, এবং অনেক বেশি ভালো থাকার।

With humble respect to the bravery and sacrifice that bring us our independence.

26th March, our glorious Independence Day. On this day in 1971, the Bengali nation took the oath of independence, and the Liberation War begins. After nine months of sacrifice by the brave freedom fighters, we got our independence.

On this day, we give tribute to all those heroes, whose sacrifice made us free, and also we honor all the mothers and sisters who without fighting in battlefield, still stand equally beside the fighters by giving them food and shelter. But independence is not only just for celebrating, it is also our duty to protect its dignity.

On March 8th, the Cultural Club organized an Iftar Party — a warm gathering that brought together Senior Panelists, newly selected Representatives and General Members, all uniting to make the evening truly special.

The event was held at Ocean Basket, Mirpur-11, and was a wonderful opportunity to build connections within the club family.

A heartfelt thanks to our Panelist for organizing such a beautiful event. Special appreciation also goes out to all the Representatives and General Members who attended and made the evening memorable.

Whether in the classroom or out of it, in the cantonment or elsewhere, in the realm of culture or creativity, the school has influenced countless generations through their emphasis on values, vision and success. ‎আজ আন্তর্জাতিক মাতৃভাষা দিবস।এই দিনটি আমাদের জাতির অহংকার, আত্মত্যাগ আর ভাষার মর্যাদার প্রতীক।অন্য দিকে এই দিন আমাদের শোকাবহ করে তোলে। ১৯৫২ সালের এই দিনে বাংলা ভাষাকে রাষ্ট্রভাষা করার দাবিতে সালাম, বরকত, রফিক, জব্বারসহ অসংখ্য বীর সন্তানেরা উৎসর্গ করেছিলেন তাঁদের সজীব প্রাণ।তাঁদের রক্তে রাঙানো রাজপথ এবং সংগ্রামের দ্বারা এসেছে আমাদের মাতৃভাষার স্বীকৃতি, জেগেছে বাঙালির আত্মপরিচয়ের চেতনা। তাই অমর একুশে বাংলা ভাষা এবং বাঙালি জাতির অস্তিত্বের মূল ভিত্তি।

আজ আমরা বি এ এফ শাহীন কলেজ কালচারাল ক্লাবের পক্ষ থেকে গভীর শ্রদ্ধায় স্মরণ করি সেই সকল অমর শহিদদের যাঁদের আত্মত্যাগের ফলে আমরা পেয়েছি আমাদের মাতৃভাষা বাংলা।

Ramadan Kareem !

As Ramadan begins BAF Shaheen College Dhaka Culural Club sends warm wishes and heartfelt prayers to everyone.

Ramadan is truly the most special month for all of us. It does not only refer to fasting but also helps strengthening our faith for Almighty, controlling desires and crafts ourselves into our better versions. The month gives us realization of our previous mistakes and provides us the opportunity to renew our intentions and seek forgiveness. It is the time when our hearts remain soft and the families and communities remain united . As we commence this journey of worshipfulness and self-betterment, may we be at the forefront of Allah's acceptance of our fasting, prayers and supplications; may we receive absolution for our imperfections; and may He lead us onto the correct path. This month should provide us with tranquillity, togetherness, energy and boundless bounty.
Let this sacred month create togetherness in our community; sympathy in ourselves; and riches for us all.

The wait is over! BAF Shaheen College Dhaka Cultural Club is accepting applications for Section Representatives for the new term.

If you enjoy music, playing instruments, acting, dancing and/or creating graphics or documentation using IT technology, consider applying to step up and make a contribution to the college's current cultural identity.

As Section Representative for the Cultural Club, you will represent the Club and voice your ideas to club management. It's a great position for those who enjoy working in teams, are serious about taking responsibilities and enjoy leading by example. It is also an opportunity to make a difference in the college’s cultural life and help shape the future of the ones and the club.
