The Supply Chain Management Club (SCMC), a wing of the UIU Directorate of Career Counseling & Student Affairs, successfully organized an engaging “ERP Simulation Workshop” on Sunday, 18 May 2026, at Lab Room #226, United International University.

We were honored to have Sayed Tariq Ul Islam, Senior Manager – Supply Services at Reckitt Benckiser Bangladesh PLC, as our esteemed speaker. Through an interactive Excel-based ERP simulation, participants gained practical exposure to how ERP systems connect various business functions and enhance operational efficiency in real-world organizations.

The session provided valuable industry insights, helping students better understand the role of ERP in modern supply chain and business management while strengthening their practical and analytical skills.

“Looking Ahead by Looking Back”

UIU Supply Chain Management Club, a wing of UIU DCCSA, successfully organized an insightful seminar on April 27, 2026, at the Smart Auditorium, IRIIC, UIU.

The session was conducted by Professor Dr. Shams Rahman, Vice Chancellor of East West University, who shared valuable insights on the changing nature of supply chains, disruptive innovation, and the future skills needed in the evolving business world.

One of the most impactful takeaways from the session was:
“Instead of racing against the machine, we need to race with the machine.”

We were also honored by the presence of Professor Dr. Md. Abul Kashem Mia, Vice Chancellor of UIU, and Dr. M. Rezwan Khan, Professor Emeritus & Director, IAR.

As SCMC, we are proud to create opportunities that inspire learning, growth, and future-ready thinking for our students.
