On 11th May, in collaboration with SHISUK and WUACD ( World University Association for Community Development) YLCA arranged an awareness programme and workshop on Indoor Air Pollution bringing together distinguished Professors from Australia, Indonesia, and Pakistan, who shared insightful presentations and experiences.

We are proud that joined as the youth partner in organizing this meaningful programme. From coordinating the field visit to managing the overall event activities, our dedicated volunteers worked tirelessly to make the programme beautiful, impactful, and successful.

Such initiatives create valuable opportunities for learning, collaboration, and strengthening global connections for community development and youth engagement. Grateful to everyone who contributed to making the event memorable and inspiring. 🌱✨

Meet Raisul Shafkat, a 2022 GYLC Youth Climate Champion from Bangladesh. Recently, he joined an agroecology exchange program in Sri Lanka as part of the APEX (Asian People Exchange Agroecology) youth group, alongside 30 participants from Asia. They exchanged best practices in sustainable farming, explored agroecology's impact on climate change, and visited local sites to observe innovative practices. Raisul also shared his work in Bangladesh, particularly his youth-led agroecology initiatives in the Comilla region with NGO SHISUK, inspiring others with his story. Our Climate Champions are making a difference worldwide. Do your part and be part of the change.

A beautiful afternoon 🌿

Somewhere between deadlines, research papers, and meetings, we realized something simple we also need space to just be. Growth doesn’t only happen in reports, presentations, or fieldwork; it also lives in quiet afternoons, laughter, reflection, and moments that recharge the soul.

Today was one of those gentle pauses. A little fun, a little thinking, and a lot of gratitude. Personal development isn’t always structured it’s often found in these small, beautiful breaks that help us return stronger, clearer, and more human.
