Finally, we have completed the work of our very first project.
Today, we reached a village that, since the birth of Bangladesh, has never worked on tackling climate change. No one had ever told them that plastic is harmful to the environment. "RENEW The MULTiVERSE" is the first to take up this work.
We told the young people that plastic damages the environment and should not be thrown away carelessly.
Due to our constrained budget, we were unable to distribute saplings to every family in accordance with demand.But many children came forward with great enthusiasm, saying: I will bring plastic—please give me a sapling. I will never litter plastic again.
This is exactly what we hoped for even a small step can play a powerful role in protecting the environment.
Our project slogan was:
"Give 1 kg of plastic, take 1 sapling."
And we successfully made it happen.
For us, this is a milestone.
