Chittagong is under water again. Every year during monsoon, it's the same scene.

Is nature alone to blame for floods? No.

How is Climate Change responsible?
Heat is increasing ➡️ Water v***r in the air is increasing ➡️ 1 month’s rain falls in just 2-3 days.
Hill runoff + tidal water together = the city gets submerged.

Our Unplanned activities are also to blame ➡️
Canals and drains being filled, hill cutting, drains blocked by plastic.
Trees are being cut down, so the soil can’t hold water.
Landslides are happening. Houses are breaking and getting swept away by water.

If we are not careful now, how will we survive future disasters?

Nature is giving us a signal. There’s still time.
Let’s "Replant, Reuse, Rewaken".
Otherwise, the next flood will be even more devastating.

Today, on the occasion of World Environment Day, I organized an environmental awareness session for children. For one hour, we discussed the importance of protecting the environment, reducing pollution, and keeping our communities clean and green.

I asked the children, “How will you protect the environment?” Those who shared thoughtful and inspiring answers were rewarded with a tree sapling.

It was encouraging to see their enthusiasm and understanding of environmental responsibility. Bangladesh’s future lies in the hands of the next generation, and by educating children today, we can help build a more environmentally conscious society tomorrow.

Every small action matters. Together, we can create a cleaner, greener, and healthier environment for everyone. 🌱💚

Finally, we have completed the work of our very first project.

Today, we reached a village where people had never received proper awareness about protecting the environment or the harmful impact of plastic waste. “RENEW the MULTiVERSE” took the initiative to bring this environmental message to the community.

We talked to young people and children about keeping their surroundings clean, reducing plastic waste, and disposing of plastic responsibly.

Due to our limited budget, we were unable to distribute saplings to every family according to demand. But many children came forward with great enthusiasm, saying, “I will bring plastic. Please give me a sapling. I will never litter plastic again.”

This is exactly what we hoped for. Even a small initiative can create meaningful change and inspire people to take better care of their environment.

Our project slogan was:

“Give 1 kg of plastic, take 1 sapling.”

And we successfully made it happen.

For us, this is not just a project, it is a milestone toward building cleaner, greener, and more environmentally conscious communities.

It truly feels amazing.

On behalf of Renew the Multiverse, we have distributed trees to families who really need them. We even met families who didn’t have a single fruit tree at home. We gave them saplings and helped plant them for them.

Protecting our environment is everyone’s responsibility, and our youth can play an important role in creating a greener Bangladesh. By planting trees, we can make our surroundings greener, healthier, and more beautiful.

These fruit trees will provide fresh fruits for low-income families while also encouraging them to care for and grow more trees around their homes. I hope that, in the future, the fruits from these trees will support their families and help them become more financially self-sufficient.

Together, we can build a greener and healthier environment for our communities.
