"ইশতেহার বাস্তবায়নের সংকট ও সম্ভাবনা: পানি, কৃষি ও খাদ্যনিরাপত্তা"- এর গুরুত্বপূর্ণ প্রশ্নগুলো নিয়ে রাষ্ট্রীয় পর্যায় থেকে সরাসরি কথা বললেন তিনি।

A dialogue hosted at the Department of Environment (DoE) on tree logging in Bangladesh (2025–2026), highlighting deforestation, governance gaps, and youth-led environmental accountability by RDRC in association with Brighters.

Here, our Founder & Director, Saidur Rahman Siam stated "Youth need a platform that can act as a watchdog alongside the Department of Environment and the Forest Department.

Through this platform, young people can initiate citizen journalism, documenting and reporting environmental violations. They can capture and share evidence of incidents such as illegal tree cutting, ensure proper documentation, and promptly report them to the relevant authorities for action."

The Additional Director General of the Department of Environment, addressing Saidur Rahman Siam, stated that plans will be developed to engage young people as part of an Environmental Watchdog initiative. He emphasized that there is no alternative to involving youth in efforts to prevent environmental crimes such as illegal forest encroachment and tree cutting, and to strengthen environmental protection and enforcement.
