A Proud Milestone for Plant Scholar!

We were honored to welcome the Honourable Prime Minister of Bangladesh, Mr. Tareq Rahman, to the Plant Scholar stall at National Environmental Fair 2026.

During the visit, the Honourable Prime Minister learned about the vision and long-term impact of the Plant Scholar (Brikkho Britti) initiative an innovative movement that goes beyond tree planting by promoting long-term tree care, survival, and youth leadership in environmental stewardship.

The visit is a great encouragement for our mission to build a greener, more climate resilient Bangladesh through responsible tree guardianship and community participation.

Meet Our Chief Guest

We are deeply honored to announce Professor Dr. Abdus Salam, Pro-Vice Chancellor (Academic), University of Dhaka, as the Chief Guest of the Official Launch, Press Conference & Tree Plantation Ceremony of Plant Scholar.

Professor Dr. Abdus Salam is a distinguished academic and researcher with an outstanding contribution to atmospheric chemistry, air quality, climate change, and environmental research. He earned his PhD from the Technical University of Vienna, Austria, and completed postdoctoral research in Canada. Throughout his academic career, he has collaborated with leading international research institutions and has published more than a hundred scientific articles in renowned journals. He is also widely recognized for his work on environmental sustainability and climate-related research.

His presence will undoubtedly inspire young people to take meaningful action for nature, climate resilience, and a greener future.
