It was a vibrant and inspiring evening on 22 May 2026 at Grace 21 Smart Hotel, where our emerging Rotaract leaders demonstrated remarkable confidence, enthusiasm, and commitment toward their chartering journey under the guidance of the RIPSA Bangladesh Rotaractor Chair and Coordinator.

The energy, passion, and dedication shown by our youth leaders truly reflect the bright future of Rotary Youth Leadership Development in Bangladesh. We remain highly hopeful and optimistic about their leadership journey ahead.

The meeting was graciously sponsored by our Charter President Kazi Saiful Hoque. Heartfelt thanks and sincere appreciation to him for his continuous support, encouragement, and visionary leadership.

Special thanks also to PP Monjurul Karim PHF Bhai for joining us as a valued guest and for facilitating his son’s admission into our sponsored Rotaract Club of Dhaka Luminous. Such involvement and encouragement from senior Rotary leaders greatly inspire our young generation.

Another impactful signature community service initiative of the Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous was successfully conducted today — a Free Eye Treatment Camp in technical collaboration with Prime Bank Eye Hospital.

The camp provided comprehensive eye screening, medical consultation, treatment support, and selection of patients for cataract surgeries based on medical recommendations and necessity.

This humanitarian initiative was organized for marginalized and underprivileged communities at the residence of Mr. Khalilur Rahman in Ragunathpur, Chandpur Sadar. The program received overwhelming appreciation from the local community, where more than 300 patients were served by the experienced and dedicated medical team of Prime Bank Eye Hospital.

We are also pleased to announce that 50+ patients have been selected for cataract operations under the sponsorship of Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous. By the grace of Almighty God, these surgeries will be conducted phase by phase in the coming days.

This project strongly reflects Rotary International’s commitment to Disease Prevention and Treatment, one of Rotary’s seven areas of focus.

We are truly honored to conduct this meaningful service project in the local area of our Immediate Past President (IPP), Rtn Redwan, PHF.

Together, let us continue to serve humanity and create sustainable impact in society, upholding Rotary’s noble motto — “Service Above Self.”

Another inspiring morning at the Rotary Club of Dhaka Luminous.

Education is the backbone of every strong community. Guided by this belief, our Interact Club of Dhaka Luminous has identified and extended support to an informal pre-school in Tongi serving underprivileged children.

Through this initiative, we are encouraging the dedicated teacher, Ms. Amita Rani Nath, and 21 young learners to continue their educational journey—progressing toward primary, secondary, and higher education based on their merit.

As part of our Youth Service Avenue, with a strong focus on Basic Education and Literacy, this effort reflects Rotary’s core principle: Service Above Self. It is also a powerful platform to engage our youth in meaningful, purpose-driven community service.

Proud to see our Interactors and Rotarians working hand in hand to create sustainable, long-term impact in community and youth development.

Warm regards,
