You see... 👏🏾

This is why respect matters in the music industry.

No matter how big Drake became, he never forgot who opened the door for him. Instead of disrespecting Lil Wayne or acting like he achieved everything on his own, he continues to acknowledge the man who believed in him from the beginning.

“Lil Wayne gave me $30,000. My family couldn’t afford it, and that changed my life forever. I didn’t realize what was going on at the time, but then I understood later. May God keep protecting him. I mean, if not for him, me and Nicki Minaj couldn’t be here today.”

That statement alone shows gratitude, loyalty, and humility.

Many artists become successful and start talking down on the people who helped them. Drake chose a different path. He recognizes that Lil Wayne took a chance on him when many others wouldn't, and that decision helped change not only Drake's life but also the careers of countless artists who came through Young Money.

Whether you're a fan of Drake, Nicki Minaj, or Lil Wayne, one thing is clear: greatness should never make you forget the people who helped you rise.

A grateful heart will always shine brighter than a successful one. 🙏🏾🎵

Sad 💔

Imagine spending more than 12 years in prison without a trial or a final judgment. That was the reality for Abu Kamara at Pademba Road Prison.

After more than a decade behind bars, Abu has finally taken a step toward freedom after Justice Mark Ngegba granted him bail at High Court No. 8. He is the first beneficiary of the Hope Behind Bars Sierra Leone initiative, a program focused on providing legal assistance and rehabilitation support to inmates.

Cases of delayed justice are not unique to Sierra Leone. Similar concerns about lengthy pre-trial detention and court delays have been reported in many countries around the world, including some of the world's most developed nations.

For Abu Kamara, however, the question remains: can anyone truly give back the 12 years he spent waiting for justice?

Many Sierra Leoneans believe that when a person loses such a significant part of their life due to failures within the justice system, compensation should be considered. Others argue that a full legal review of the case should come first before any decision is made.

What is clear is that no citizen should spend years in detention without having their case properly heard and resolved.

Do you think the Government of Sierra Leone should compensate Abu Kamara for the years he spent in prison without trial? Share your thoughts below. 👇🇸🇱

The Liberian Government is showing serious commitment to strengthening its police force and improving national security. 🇱🇷💪

The country is preparing its officers with more tactical experience and modern training so they can better defend their land and maintain peace when necessary.

The Liberia National Police (LNP) recently shared photos of 20 police officers who successfully completed a specialized tactical training program in Rwanda. The training is expected to improve their skills, discipline, and readiness for different security operations.

Congratulations to all the officers on this remarkable achievement 🎓👏

A stronger and better-trained police force is always important for national development and public safety.

Guinea 🇬🇳 Soldiers will think they're Liberian Soldiers 😂

Mmmm Salone Football 🇸🇱⚽

Sierra Leone is expected to play Liberia 🇱🇷 in a home and away friendly match next month in Liberia, but honestly, many fans are worried about how these games might go.

Leone Stars still does not have proper structure and leadership around the team after the removal of Mohamed Kallon, and football is very difficult when there is confusion from the top.

Yes, Sierra Leone has talented players like Juma Bah, Momoh Kamara, Musa Noah Kamara, and a lot more but talent alone does not win football matches. A team needs organization, preparation, tactics, and unity before stepping onto the pitch.

Liberia will definitely come prepared and ready to fight for results in front of their home fans, while Sierra Leone still looks unsettled. That is dangerous in football because even good players struggle when there is no clear direction.

These matches are not just ordinary friendlies, they are important for confidence, team chemistry, and preparing the squad for bigger competitions ahead.

Salone football has enough talent to compete with anybody in Africa, but without proper structure and leadership, we might not win any of these games.

Even though Sierra Leone is still below the WHO threshold, the Ministry of Health has confirmed that the country is more than 50% prepared to fight Ebola if the need arises.

The systems are already being put in place, but the awareness and prevention measures should go beyond just the health sector. The fight must extend to the borders, airports, local communities, schools and every part of society.

Ebola prevention is everyone’s responsibility, and early action, awareness and cooperation can help protect the nation from another outbreak. 🇸🇱

ApreeL and Isat really delivered with “Fine Lek.” The song is sounding fresh, catchy and original, and right now it’s hard to go anywhere in Salone without hearing people singing or dancing to it. The track has already been appearing on Sierra Leone music charts and playlists, showing how fast the audience connected with it.

This is the kind of music that keeps Sierra Leone entertainment moving forward, good sound, good energy and something the fans genuinely enjoy instead of forcing hype. Alhamdulillah, our artists are putting in serious work and proving that Salone music can compete anywhere when the quality is right. 🇸🇱🔥

Janka Nabay always advised Sierra Leoneans to love their country and respect their culture through his songs because, according to him, that is our true identity.

He believed that even if we travel to more advanced and world-class countries, we should never forget where we came from or turn our backs on our homeland.

But many people didn't care about that message, including Charlobah, Charlobah did not listen to that message. This is now like the third major tournament England have ignored him, despite all the hope and patience that one day the Three Lions would finally give him the opportunity to represent them internationally.

The world-class star reportedly chose to ignore the calls from Sierra Leone with the dream that England and the King’s country would eventually welcome him into the national team setup, but up till now, that opportunity has still not happened and many fans believe it may never happen.

Everyone wants a better life and greater opportunities, but many Sierra Leoneans believe turning your back on the country of your birth for another nation is unpatriotic, especially when your homeland once showed you love and support from the very beginning.

When His Excellency Julius Maada Bio and his team removed the APC government of President Joseph Saidu Momoh on April 29, 1992, His Excellency Valentine Strasser became the military Head of State under the NPRC government.

His Excellency Valentine Strasser ruled Sierra Leone from 1992 until January 16, 1996, during the difficult years of the civil war. As time went on, many people believed he wanted to continue ruling the country instead of returning Sierra Leone to democratic civilian rule.

On January 16, 1996, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio removed His Excellency Valentine Strasser from power in an internal military takeover and became the new Head of State.

Just a little over two months later, on March 29, 1996, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio handed the country back to civilian rule after democratic elections were conducted.

That process brought His Excellency Ahmad Tejan Kabbah of the SLPP into power as President of Sierra Leone. At first, both men appeared to have a good relationship during the transition period, but later political differences reportedly damaged the friendship between His Excellency Julius Maada Bio and His Excellency Ahmad Tejan Kabbah.

His Excellency Ahmad Tejan Kabbah later became one of the strongest critics of His Excellency Julius Maada Bio’s political ambition, and many supporters often repeat statements credited to him that His Excellency Julius Maada Bio would only become President “over his dead body.”

There were also political claims and allegations over the years that His Excellency Ahmad Tejan Kabbah once advised former President His Excellency Ernest Bai Koroma not to allow His Excellency Julius Maada Bio to become President of Sierra Leone. However, this has largely remained part of political discussions and alleged private conversations rather than officially documented public records.

Despite all the political tension, opposition, and years of criticism, His Excellency Julius Maada Bio eventually became President of Sierra Leone in 2018 and he is still the President.

Sad 😢

Reports say Incredible JJ and Jzyno have been arrested in Ghana 🇬🇭.

Not for drugs.
Not for fraud.
Not for any violence.

Their only “offense” is taking Sierra Leone 🇸🇱 and Liberia 🇱🇷 music across borders and making Ghanaian fans fall in love with their sound 🎶🔥

The streets, clubs, and music lovers in Ghana are vibing heavily to their songs, proving that good music truly has no boundary.

From Sierra Leone to Liberia and now Ghana, their talent is connecting people and cultures together through music 🌍❤️

If spreading African music worldwide is a crime, then these two are definitely guilty 😭👏🏾
