The Rotary Club of Banani Dhaka (RCBD) held its 1329th Regular Weekly Meeting (RWM) yesterday in a warm and joyful atmosphere of fellowship and friendship.

In the absence of our President, Rtn. Md. Sharif Ullah, the meeting was led by our IPP Rtn. Khandker Abdul Mubin, who officially opened the meeting at 5:30 PM. The meeting commenced with an invocation led by our Treasurer, *Rtn. Capt. (Retd.) Md. Mahmud Aziz, BN.

The evening was primarily dedicated to fellowship and camaraderie, reflecting the true spirit of Rotary. Members shared laughter, stories and meaningful moments while also discussing the date and venue for the club’s upcoming Annual Picnic along with some ongoing project issues.

The fellowship became even more special as we celebrated the birthdays of three beloved RCBD members:

🎈 Rtn. Engr. Ziaul Alam Khan
🎈 IPP Rtn. Khandker Abdul Mubin

The evening concluded beautifully with a delicious birthday cake, warm tea and evening snacks, creating another memorable moment of togetherness among RCBD family members.

Rotary is not only about Service Above Self, it is also about the friendships, fellowship and bonds that make service stronger.

Yesterday, We had our 1st Club Assembly of the Rotary Year 2026–27, combined with a delightful breakfast meeting filled with meaningful discussions, fellowship, and the true Spirit of Rotary.

At 8:30 AM, our President, Rtn. Md. Sharif Ullah, rang the bell to officially begin the meeting. The invocation was then delivered by our Treasurer, Rtn. Capt. (Retd.) Md. Mahmud Aziz, BN.

The Club Assembly focused on several important areas of our club’s journey ahead, including:

🔹 Ongoing & upcoming service projects
🔹 Review of Club Bylaws
🔹 Strategic planning for the year
🔹 Membership growth & retention
🔹 Increasing and activating member participation
🔹 SAD adjustment
🔹 A brief and insightful presentation by Rtn. Ahnaf Muhammad Towsif Cma

And, of course, no RCBD breakfast meeting is complete without good food and great fellowship!

We enjoyed a scrumptious breakfast together, followed by steaming hot tea to warm up the morning, the perfect way to warm up the morning and continue our conversations! 😄☕️

The meeting concluded with fellowship, laughter, shared ideas, and renewed enthusiasm to Create Lasting Impact through service.

Our RWM #1327 commenced exactly at 5:30 PM with the ringing of the bell by our President, Rtn. Sharif Ullah, followed by the invocation.

We were delighted to welcome Rtn. AKM Mahiuddin Palash from the Rotary Club of Dhaka Midtown, Bangladesh, who briefly introduced himself and shared his valuable Rotary experiences with our members.

✨ A Special PHF Recognition Moment ✨

As RCBD proudly became an All-PHF Club, we received Paul Harris Fellow (PHF) pins and certificates for all our members. Few of our members also received MPHF recognition also. We sincerely appreciate Rtn. AKM Mahiuddin Palash for his valuable support in helping RCBD receive these recognition from Rotary International.

With his gracious presence, Rtn. Palash distributed the PHF pins and certificates among the members present, making the evening even more memorable.

The meeting concluded with evening snacks, warm fellowship, and plenty of happy faces, a wonderful reminder that Rotary is not only about service, but also about friendship, appreciation, and togetherness.

Another meaningful evening of Rotary fellowship, recognition, and shared experiences at the Rotary Club of Banani Dhaka.
