Production companies are engaged by marketers and their agencies for the express purpose of applying their artistry, unique skills and specialised talent to produce a commercial that fully realises the potential of the creative idea. The Bangladesh Association of Ad-film & Content Producers (BAAcP) is a association that represents the interests of production companies, producers, and stakeholders in the audiovisual industry, including commercials, fiction, nonfiction, and other content forms. Founded by a few industry producers Md Hobibur Rahman Tareq, Md Assaduzzaman, Mahjabin Reza, Samaresh Mukherji, Himel Tareq, Sohel Abid in 2016. 1st Adhoc Elected Committee was formed in 2019 by online voting and Md Hobibur Rahman Tareq became the Convenor and Mahjabin Reza became the Join Convenor along with Samaresh Mukherji, Md Assaduzzaman, Didarul islam Shishir, Himel Tareq, Shimul C Biswas. Second Elected Committee was formed in April 2024 by online voting and Shamsul Rahman Alvy became Convenor and Moumita Hussain became the Join Convenor along with Rumel Chowdhury, Md Muktadir Chowdhury, Yeasin Mohammad Arafat Kirty. And In May 2024 we all came together to create a working committee where Md Hobibur Rahman Tareq, Mahjabin Reza, Samaresh Mukherji, Md Assaduzzaman, Didarul islam Shishir, Himel Tareq, Shamsul Rahman Alvy, Rumel Chowdhury and Tanveer Hossain. BAAcP's mission is to create a framework for managing key business relationships, facilitating collaboration between production companies, agencies, and clients, and promoting the industry’s growth and development. BAAcP supports its members by offering services such as standard production agreements, contractual guidance, crew engagement recommendations, and advice on terms of services. The association also works to resolve disputes and helps members navigate complex production issues, including international services. In addition to these core services, BAAcP hosts seminars, workshops, masterclasses, and international sales events to promote members, create networking opportunities, and provide continuous learning and development for professionals in the industry. These efforts aim to open up new opportunities and markets for members, keeping them updated on the latest trends and best practices in advertising and content production.
